**spookyghostparty rolled image** I don't understand why some businesses do this. I mean, they're paying that person at least $7.25 per hour, right? That seems like a lot of money to spend on a really ****** form of advertising.

It's cheaper in the long run. after 207 hours of working at 7.25, the kid would be more expensive.

as for whether it works, kid or robot, A billboard might be better.

**zaach rolled image** I'm pretty sure he meant standing by the road, waving the board. Not an actual person vs. machine. I've also always wondered this, why moving the sign around so much instead of just placing a billboard.

I mean, at that wage, that sign only really needs to drive in 1 pizza an hour to about break even, and 2 an hour to make a decent profit margin on the advertising.

I just wish some of the people would figure out that when you dance too fast or wave it around too much I can't even read the sign. There is a guy in Fort Collins, CO that was entertaining the first few times I drove past him, but he's pretty repetitive so the novelty wore off. www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6MWty9DrbU

This is what happens when you ask for 12 dollars an hour to hold a sign.
