The Crowned Eagle

So we all are familiar
with this image from Tumblr:
As an adult, the Crowned Eagle
is generally between
31 to 39 inches tall
80 to 99 centimeters)
with a wingspan of roughly
70 inches (about 180 centimeters).
For a bird of this height,
their wingspan is oddly short
but perfect for their habitat, forests.
The shorter wingspan gives
them the agility they need to
catch their prey, smaller birds.
However they also
prey on animals up to 44
pounds (20 kilograms).

The Crowned Eagle has eaten small children and infants.
The distinctive piercing marks in the skull made by the eagles talons have been found in human remains near the eagles nests

Yup. Like the content says they attack prey that is up to 44 lbs, sometimes larger.

If the prey is too heavy to bring back to the nest they tear it apart and bring manageable chunks back to the nest.
