But looking at archaeological records,the first culture to braid hair in dreadlocks were the tribes in present day Germany and Switzerland,and were part of the tribes that fought the Roman Empire, with Native Americans and Africans discovering it itself,kind of like farming. Modern dreds didn't arrive till the 70's and 80's from the Caribbean. So it's not a black thing,by technicality it's a Caribbean thing.

While tons of Caribbeans do have African descent,they've evolved into different cultures. And while many Africans are of pure African (with different nationalities) Caribbeans are a mix of everything,and the Caribbean is the true melting pot of the world, second only to New York City. There cultures are extremely different
