The force Awakens is a bad movie
Not saying people can't enjoy it. But it surprises me, and I even think it kind of lowers humanity's standards, that it is called "The Best movie of 2016".

Han literally underwent reverse character development and went back to being the sleazy greedy smuggler
All we've accomplished is making the cast more diverse, which who the **** cared. That and the plot is New Hope 2: Tumblr in Space A black guy, a strong independent woman, and a Spaniard need to call adults to make the autistic white kid with a Hitler obsession go away

The first order isn't the empire. they're just a faction that holds the ideals of the empire in high regard, hell the current chancellor didn't even view them as a threat to the new republic. I'm gonna rant a little, need to get it out of system.
About characters:
Luke - hero who saved galaxy, would sacrifice himself for his friends, faced terrible enemies, fought in war... Now is some pathetic hermit who ditches family, friends, entire galaxy to sob at some island watching sea for 20 years.
Han - was cynical swashbuckler but with big heart. Now is naive babysitter. Dying in the absolutly most pathetic way. Old one Han would dispose of his failure son. Not even metioning what would actually happend if his sonny returned home? Have a nice dinner with mummy and pappy and maybe be punished by not getting desert? He would be sentenced to death [he murdered billions of people]. How would anyone actually take this?
Leya - She does not have any screen time, but she is pretty naive and pathetic too.
Finn - Brainwashed since childhood grow coscience in one minute. Refuse to obey orders and kill. After few hourse he is killing his fellow comrades in arms with no problem. WHAT THE **** ? First female he meets after almost dying twice and flying from his masters and he asks her if she has boyfriend? He did not even get name, he know anything about relationships? Have he even seen woman without armor before? HE IS ENEMY, the droid knows he is LIAR, why everyone believe him and even let him near their commanders. He wants to run away [in the pub], grow concious second time and start fighting openly with the Order which scares him ******** .
Rey - Mary Sue. Why should I actually care about her? Just because she in not eating well with her half rations? /cry Or because she did not sell the droid? Why did she not do it? Makes no sense. Oh, wait. To let audience know she has heart made of gold. How pure soul... You know nothing bad can happend to her, so you dont care about her at all.
That pilot - Make idiotic decision? Why he did not flee and did stupid attack? Survive crah from outer space? Really? After torture, fall from space he actually hitchhike some spaceship on desert(ed) planet while there is Empire attacking? Grow so strong bond with some stormtrooper that is wonder he did not start sucking his cock when their time together crossed one hour time.
Kylo - make character badass or pathetic but not both. Make him unstable, you can do that, but during his rage moments let him murder people, not boom into computer keyboard... People even dare to call him "complex"... What a joke. His conclift makes no sense. Why he worships Vader, when he turned good in the end? He grow up in Skywalkers family, they will tell him stories about his granpa saving entire galaxy since day one. HE CAN NOT BE REHABILITATED. He [joined group that] murdered billions. He will be executed or given life sentence. Who would take that deal? What is his agenda? What does he wants? Why does he wants that? And the fight. And the deus ex machina...
And this is only character wise rant...
I am so ******* pissed about this movie. Biggest movie disapointment in my life.

fireskeleton (01/07/2016) [-] BB-8, Finn and Poe's instant-friendship, the upgraded but not updated design of internal structures, the scene where Rey loots a wrecked star destroyer. Some things were straight out recycled but nobody sung a song about their current situation, so Disney made it well imo. I'd give it a 7/10.

They'd probably be the same types of people who watch movies that are made to just have something that passes your time while you sit there eating popcorn and call it "good".
Good movies are the ones you don't even need popcorn with and amazing movies are the ones inwhich you legit forget you had popcorn (it has happened to me. I don't remember if it was with the Return of the King or what movie...)

That movie is a visual masterpiece. But when you see it again you realize it's a bad movie too. The visuals are amazing. The story is the same old-same old.
