Not that far, just beat moms heart for the first time, have to do it 10 more times. I actually managed to beat moms heart multiple times, but sadly my save died together with the HDD. I watch a lot of Northernlions Isaac videos, so I kind of know what items do and what to expect.

then you have a very long way, i suggest never playing on normal, trust me it will pay off in the long run.
