At least it doesn't assign genders to ******* inanimate objects

English is an easy language to learn though, compared to others.

Stop complaining, my native language is german, it's not only extremely hard to learn with all the diverent genders in items, but also nearly everything you say sounds like you are giving comands to invade poland.

Dearest creature in creation
Studying English pronunciation,
I will teach you in my verse
Sounds like corpse, corps, horse and worse.
I will keep you, Susy, busy,
Make your head with heat grow dizzy;
Tear in eye, your dress you'll tear;
Queer, fair seer, hear my prayer.
Pray, console your loving poet,
Make my coat look new, dear, sew it!
Just compare heart, hear and heard,
Dies and diet, lord and word.
Sword and sward, retain and Britain
(Mind the latter how it's written).
Made has not the sound of bade,
Say-said, pay-paid, laid but plaid.
Now I surely will not plague you
With such words as vague and ague,
But be careful how you speak,
Say: gush, bush, steak, streak, break, bleak ,

We do it early. In Norway, English education is around fourth grade, m'thinks.

Any later, and it's too complicated to pick up other languages without serious commitment.

On that note - **** German. **** German so, so much.

Imagine your name is "Had" and you take drugs.

The drugs that Had had had had had a negative effect on his evening.

Get that weak **** out of here. At least it's not like Mandarin, where you can literally have an entire poem using the word "shi" pronounced differently.

Logic does not apply to languages that evolved on there own through people simply deciding what to call things.

We get it.

Tier and Tear aren't pronounced the same.

Just like how your and you're aren't pronounced the same.

I love it how I can just look at a few comments and see fellow Finns just smirking at how wrong that is :3 English is just a piece of cake compared to if you had to learn some Nordic languages as a second language.

Pronunciation isn't really that imported if you know the definition of the word.

If you know the definition of the word, and use it in a sentence correctly but pronounce it wrong (maybe you have an accent) usually people will understand what you mean.
