This is nothing new. It's only news because hating Muslims is okay right now. I just did a quick google search for "hasidic jew trying to enforce" and the first five results were hasidic jews attempting to force their dress code, or suing businesses to change their dress code, and even a jewish secret police irony~ enforcing modesty and dress code.

And for the gentiles here, the Mormon church has successfully changed school dress codes to allow only Mormon approved clothing in several places in Utah. (Again, just google search "Mormon trying to enforce")

Just because a movement exists is no cause for concern.

well as far as my knowledge goes. jihad is a good thing not a bad thing.

if the US got invaded , what would you call those soldiers who died defending their country? they sacraficed them selves to defend the country. they are heroes aren't they?
thats what jihad is. blowing a ******* tower is not a jihad . jihad work for defence. going to jihad is basiclly going to defend your counter from invaders not invading other countries or blowing building. jihad as all an act of self defence. now ofc there are ******* braindead people who blow them selves up and call it jihad but its not what it is really.

Aye, even the oldest of doctrines can hold something astounding. Like how the Mongols had equal rights for their women and such and how the Persian Empire (and the Mongols) didn't dictate what religion you worshiped.

The Muslim faith has a -lot- of good teachings. It's just a shame that idiots exist to perpetuate the worst ones. At it's best it's better than Christianity. At it's worst it's worse than Judaism.

Really, you could have said that for literally any people/continent/country, because at one point in their history, they had a low point. What if Europe was destroyed by a higher force during the Dark Ages because they "hardly advanced or done anything good in the last century". Or maybe the Americas after the Mayans fell? etc. etc.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who's actually waiting for the day when all the people in the world have finally mingled and migrated enough that races, nationalities and other such things become nonexistent issue and we can finally find some new reasons to dislike each other.

I don't really have anything against people dating or marrying people that are not of their own ethnicity, but I thinks it's a controversy that nobody pays that much attention to the Muslim girls who wants to date Norwegian/European guys but are not allowed to by their families. I've heard stories about girls who get called sluts and are beaten by their own families and the girl said that she preferred being beaten by her family than being called a slut because even though being beaten hurt, being called slut by her own parents hurt on the inside which was a lot worse, she said.

i am agnostic but this is what it say so your fun fact isnt quite fun or fact "And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and maintain their chastity. They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary. They shall cover their chests, (with their Khimar) and shall not relax this code in the presence of other than their husbands, their fathers, the fathers of their husbands, their sons, the sons of their husbands, their brothers, the sons of their brothers, the sons of their sisters, other women, the male servants or employees whose sexual drive has been nullified, or the children who have not reached puberty. They shall not strike their feet when they walk in order to shake and reveal certain details of their bodies. All of you shall repent to GOD, O you believers, that you may succeed." 24:31

You forgott the beginning of that passage: Tell the believing men that they shall subdue their eyes (and not stare at the women), and to maintain their chastity. This is purer for them. God is fully Cognizant of everything they do.

Also I know the site you have it from and I think the same like they say there: "*24:30-31 Dressing modestly, therefore, is a trait of the believing men and women. The minimum requirements for a woman's dress is to lengthen her garment (33:59) and to cover her chest. Tyrannical Arab traditions have given a false impression that a woman must be covered from head to toe; such is not a Quranic or Islamic dress."

so it's more for women like the nuns in catholicism, which by the way dress also covered from head to toe.

Well in Daoism you have like three gods in which you CAN belive or not. However you want. If those gods don't suit your need you can pray to other gods that you more or less invented. Because Spirits and gods live everywhere. In nature, objects, animals, your body, other planes of existance wherever you think they are. The objective is to find you inner peace, to learn more obout your surroundings and to recieve eternal live (The highest desired form is eternal live in physical existance, which is more or less impossible, so you try to be remembered as good as possible. Depending on how good you are remembered the more immortal you become and the higher the heaven is in which you come after death (there are three heavens in which you can belive or not.)

It's more like a sandbox game version of a religion. Also because you can belive in what you want and have to fully accept only a few things (there is no ultimate truth but the existance and non existance (Ying Yang (which the buddhist hood rat ************* stole)) and the wu wei (you shouldn't interefere with the cause of actions taken by nature. The highest form of possession is the possession of nothing. Not even a heartbeat. (I'm really bad at that last part, because I love stuff that I don't actually need.)) So yeah. It's like someone says you "Here man, I have some beliefs for you, do with them whatever you like."

One thing at the end: You should read the Tao Te King and act after however you interpret it.

To Arabic-speaking people, sharia , also known as Islāmī qānūn (اسلامی قانون), means the moral code and religious law of a prophetic religion. In English usage, the term "sharia" has been largely identified with Islam.

It has been identified with it, yes. But it comes from a misinterpretation (or at least a horrible interpretation) of many verses from the quran. It's the source of sharia law, and accepted widely in islamic countries. That's why some oriental countries started a countermovement (like the evangelists to the catholics).
