Honestly I don't see how it could be more efficient to listen to things in google translate compared to checking it manually. The speed it reads that stuff is slow as **** , you're gonna have to sit and listen for at least an hour even for a simple 6000 word paper.
I mean, for an important project like a doctorate paper where you're gonna want to check for mistakes a multiple times, sure, it's probably a good idea. For a 6000 word paper it just isn't worth the effort though.
Yeah, except you're going to have to sit and concentrate on picking out grammar errors from speech for 45 minutes. While you could use the magical grammar checking and spellcheck functions in word to do it in a 30 seconds.
Guess what, magical grammar and word tools don't find things like run on sentences and hanging participials, **** that if you're a doctorate student you should never have in your dissertation, because it makes you sound like you didn't learn a damn thing.
You have to read the whole thing out loud. And what's better, reading it yourself, or reading it with google, both of which are gonna be slow, but at least with one you only do half the effort?
Magical grammar and spellcheck functions will not pick up things like hanging participles, but will easily be noticable if read outloud. To what ungodly school did you go to where it took you 45 minutes to read about 1200 words? The google translate voice reads at 120 words per minute, which would amount to 10 minutes of listening. #rekt
proabably because things that are misspelled dont get through because of the red lines but the wrong words can easily silp by and auto correct wont find them because they are spelled correctly. Now find the word I intentionally misspelled.
The best way to absorb information:
*see it
*hear it
*do it
By writing and re-reading your own work, you've already satisfied two of the criteria. Hearing it is the last step. It's a change of pace from reading the material and give you one more chance to catch mistakes and perceive the material from another person's point of view.
You miss a ******* of stuff by not reading it out loud, and some people would rather not read all those pages out loud.
Every student I've ever known who writes good papers are students who read it out loud in some form. Some **** CAN'T be caught by spellcheck or other automated systems.
Sentence structure errors and run on sentences are hard to find just by eye alone.
Also checking it manually by sight is WAY slower than being read... just saying. Google translate does the effort of making sure it sounds correct
**bellbottomshark used "*roll picture*"** **bellbottomshark rolled image** Didn't it take you like, several moths to research, write and re-draft that **** . Is an hour really that much more?
You wouldn't want to spend another 45 minutes just making sure you don't lose points for dumb ******* typing errors? If you've spent hours writing a 6,000 word paper, then 45 minutes is nothing.
You're bound to miss some that you would have otherwise noticed if the paper was read out loud to you. If you don't like google reading it to you, then get a friend to read it. That way they can also help you on the paper itself, rather than grammar and spelling and **** .
When a person is frightened they will instinctively tense up and move to protect their vulnerable parts. The opposite is also true. For example, girls who find you attractive, will open up their legs more when they are standing towards you, and close them more with everybody else. It's unconscious behavior like this that you can learn to read sometimes.
Yeah, I didn't mean to object. My point merely was that the female in the picture exposes her wrists and neck but apart from that doesn't look very flirty
I've liked NiP since i started watching Esports, i want them to win, but it's impossible with Friberg,, he's one of my favourite players but he's just not performing as well as he should.
Reply limit again.
Yea something aint right. Apparently Krimz has family issues or something so his head isn't in the right place atm, but who knows could just be an excuse.
It feels like the team is dying sortoff, the players are not playing as well as a team i feel, maybe some unfriendship stuff? Doubt it but this is not normal.
As a tall guy with slightly tall hair, looks like we fall into this. I'm super tall so naturally I straighten my legs and bend my chest so as to make my face parallel to the girl's, and I play with my hair because my hair is super smooth (and drowning in chemicals).
Sorry, can't get sadpanda on this computer, but it's a kantai collection doujin on sadpanda. If you search for Kantai Collection, English, and Crossdressing, it shouldn't be too hard to find. Toss in either corruption or mind break if you have trouble.
You might be trying to end the conversation through appearing more intimidating. Seeming larger and stronger is exactly why men do what that list says - it can impress a potential mate. It's also a good way of making some people uncomfortable enough to stop a conversation in its tracks.
I guess that could have something to do with it but I don't think that's the case. When I'm feeling bored or disinterested I tend to feel all stiff and constrained. So I move and stretch in my space to alleviate that feeling. When I'm alone I'll even start flexing as much of my body as I can; The extra blood flow feels good, ya know.
You know, I was thinking about how silly it would be for a man to buy a birthday card with tampons, because it's like "Oh, they're getting these tampons for someone else... for their birthday"
but then I remembered how ridiculous it is to be embarrassed of buying them in the first place because they're obviously already for someone else...
But anyway, happy birthday stranger who's getting seven fleshlights, anal beads, and a solitary condom
>Too embarrassed to buy condoms
>Get gift card with it
>Female cashier still smirks when she sees my stuff
>"I-It's a gift for my...m-mother..."
>Cashier stares at me in disbelief
>Run back into the store proper
>Return 5 minutes later
>Large package of spaghetti with a gift card
