I agree with you that chickens aren't as dumb as people make them out to be. I've owned chickens in the past, ******* came up with an ingenious and selfless way to get out of their coop. They all stacked on each others shoulders to hop over the fence. It was about 9 feet high. They also have clear, defined, varying personalities which is always a mark of intelligence.

(while having terrible grammar, not touching that) won't help that chicken, and it really won't help change anyone's opinion of animal abuse.
