Each game having a different interation with different purposes, with most of them being walking robotic death machines that can shoot nukes. That's only scartching the surface on what they are. But they're essentially huge piloted robots. I highly recommend looking into the series, they're really ******* great, they are THE cinematic game series, back in the PS1 days.
