Then theres Bethesdas' previous works. If you havent played them yet, i suggest you go back and play them, at least from morrowind up. You can get mods to fix the poor graphics, and combat system.

In my humble opinion morrowind is the best of the elder scrolls (but that may be nostalgia talking here) it was my first, not just elder scrolls, but open-world rpg, and so far very few games have measured up quite as well as it has: i liked oblivion, but it was sub par (only got one or two playthrough out of me, as opposed to morrowinds 5 or 6) as was skyrim.

It has tons of content, and even after hundreds upon hundreds of hours of gametime, i still found more and more stuff to do.

In short, it is easily my favorite of the Elder Scrolls games, and i highly recommend it.

Also there is Kingdoms of Amalur (i know it was developed by satan EA, but i enjoyed it. as long as you can look past its half-assed lip sinking.) However i believe you will need to download origin to install it. EA tryna get their slice of the online videogame store pie i guess.

I think I'll look into that, I have heard stuff about it and apparently it's really good so I'll consider getting it!

Heads up. Witcher two has nudity. I assume you are a typical male, and don't give a rats ass, but i figured i'd give you a fair warning. Dont want to suggest the game and then "SURPRISE TITTIES" and i ruin your virgin mind with accidental pornography.

The witcher series is one of my personal favorites. Not quite as open-world as the others, but excellent.

Dragon Age: Origins. Avoid/ignore Dragon Age 2. Also, the add-ons are pretty fun and give you some extra gear, and Inquisition is an awesome expansion.
