the internet will be extremely regulated, copyright laws extended, oh yeah and the fact that CORPORATIONS CAN SUE OUR ******* GOVERNMENT IF THIS GOES THROUGH.

not only that, But a international court will be created, which will go above the sovereignty of the united states, and everywhere else.

They were saying **** like stock up on canned food, water, and take your money out of the bank. Luckily I didn't do anything, but I did spend a pointless amount of time looking into it.

I was getting my information from so called "experts", but I should've realized it's the internet and people overreact. The Reddit stocks page didn't even care and that should've been my heads up. But, I will say it was pretty informative learning about stock while looking into it. All the doomsday stock people made it seem like Chinas economic failure was going to destroy the western stock market.

It notoriously contains new rules for intellectual property (which is already out of whack for the US) which will restrict fair use and force the adoption of laws that allows for criminal sanctions for file-sharing. Japan also believes it will destroy manga and its derivatives. More bad stuff if you just google TPP

yunch (10/08/2015) [-] Just to explain: TPP is the Trans-Pacific Partnership. It's a secret agreement that's currently being negotiation to give corporations leverage over governments.
This would mean corporations could actually sue governments for breaking the TPP deal, considering governments tend to keep corporations in check regarding health, safety and human rights policies.
I'm just summarizing the main bad parts. If you're a greedy corporate dog, then there's nothing to worry about.
