In the thirteenth, that is more or less safe. Those tanks are made of hard, cold alloys, not newspaper. A few hundred globs of hot, flying metal won't do anything.
The twentieth is a gas torch. The flame is not blue-hot, which means it is deprived of oxygen and loses its heat-cutting property. It's also known as the safety flame, like on a bunsen burner.
The rest are actual ******** .

It seems like the feet are pressed against the solid wood slats, and as the top is against the wall the only way the ladder can fall is if either the ladder bends or the wooden banister slats break.
