They got genies and **** . That's a WMD if I ever heard of one.

Isn't killing people against Genies rules?
#32 to #29 - sunkmanitu (12/31/2015) [-]
1. no making anyone fall in love with anybody else
2. no bringing the dead back to life
3. no wishing for more wishes

Genie might disapprove of an order to kill someone (or a lot of people, as the case may be) but he wouldn't be able to refuse it.

Can you wish for more genies?
User avatar #51 to #47 - thismustbeseen (12/31/2015) [-]
I wish for voluntarily-reversible omnipotence
User avatar #61 to #51 - xchewsifferx (12/31/2015) [-]
Why would you ever want to reverse your ability to be omnipotent
User avatar #63 to #61 - thismustbeseen (12/31/2015) [-]
Am I really omnipotent if I can't stop myself from being omnipotent?

This wish lets me grant any number of wishes, then stop after it's done.
User avatar #65 to #63 - xchewsifferx (12/31/2015) [-]
I mean I thought being omnipotent effectively meant that you had unlimited power. So if you didn't have the ability to remove your power, then you were never truly omnipotent to begin with
User avatar #66 to #65 - thismustbeseen (12/31/2015) [-]
Depends on the semantics. It's better to be really specific when wishing or else you might get permanently stuck with omnipotence.
User avatar #70 to #66 - xchewsifferx (12/31/2015) [-]
This is very true. If Danny Phantom taught me anything it's that genies like to screw people over, so specifics are necessary
User avatar #50 to #47 - commoncrunch (12/31/2015) [-]
technically, i wished for more genies, not wishes. i guess it works
User avatar #87 to #50 - autumnfire (12/31/2015) [-]

Too be fair, wanting to help an imaginary country is better than wanting to bomb it. Bombing shouldn't just be "Yes, I don't know that country but yes, let's bomb them."

They asked Democrats too and got a slightly lower number of people supporting it.
But yeah it's a loaded question where they're looking to get a particular result from their poll.
User avatar #46 to #9 - thesovereigngrave (12/31/2015) [-]
Well I believe the question was also near the end of a long series of questions, so a bunch of people who said "yes" were probably barely reading it by the time they reached it and just answered.
#28 to #9 - anon (12/31/2015) [-]
If the PublicPolicyPolling feel the need to inform their readers that "agrabah" is not a real country, who are they to talk/judge?
#33 to #9 - anon (12/31/2015) [-]
This whole thing is really just proof of how absurd and stupid polls have become. Ask someone a stupid question and you'll get stupid answers, big surprise. And, no matter what the answers, you can spin the results of a poll to try to say whatever you want. It's just a huge farce.

There were the guy going around asking people if they supported Hillarys proposition of implementing sharia law, they all said yes, except one who said she didn't know what it was about.
The guy probably made some nitpicking with the answers, but the point came throug, alot of people are stupid

User avatar #15 to #9 - lordlolland (12/31/2015) [-]
If I recall correctly, the question wasn't "should we bomb Agrabah" but "should we bomb Agrabah if it was taken over by ISIS".
It is indeed a loaded question and the liberal media is pissing itself in joy over the results.
#71 to #15 - anon (12/31/2015) [-]
There is a big difference between recalling and citing facts. If you aren't going to give me any evidence for your statement then what you say means nothing.

Look at the facts people, agrabah was a nice place until america started funding Jafar's coup. Sure it was a little bit of a dictatorship, but look how bad its gotten since jafar's rise to power.
User avatar #52 to #31 - Sethorein ONLINE (12/31/2015) [-]
As if.

Agrabah was a democracy until the CIA installed their white sultan, claiming him to be a member of the royal family (despite him not looking middle eastern in the slightest and speaking with an English accent)

Jakarta just wants to return sovereignty back to his people and nationalize their oil reserves.
User avatar #54 to #52 - lotengo (12/31/2015) [-]
>jakarta
What does Indonesi....ohh, autocorrect. Yea i geddit.

Still, only a small minority of the people complained under the rule of the 'white' sultan.
GDP and life expectancy both skyrocketed under Sultans reign.
If we allow Jafar to get his power back you can be sure that all the progress that they made in the last decade will be gone before Trump is in office to fix Obama's crap.
User avatar #56 to #54 - Sethorein ONLINE (12/31/2015) [-]
And so help me prince Ali marries the royal family...

He's obviously a western puppet. Where does a man from nowhere get rhetoric funds to put on parades like him? Fishy stuff. He's also a bit too chummy with the sultan.
User avatar #57 to #54 - Sethorein ONLINE (12/31/2015) [-]
Rhetoric funds? No clue what that even replaced.
User avatar #55 to #54 - Sethorein ONLINE (12/31/2015) [-]
Excuse me, but the sultan was installed with a coup. A coup that ousted a democratically and elected sovereign. Why? Because he wanted to nationalize their oil, something the sultan was quick to undo. Pander all you want to gdp, we staged a coup in another people's country. They have a right to self determination. Whatever the consequences may be, they should be allowed sovereignty free from our interference

If the human rights abuses are too bad we can put sanctions on them in the appropriate international courts. Bombing them helps no one.

Dogs don't hug to show affection, that is primate body language - not canine.

That posture is how two dogs challenge each other - it often leads to a serious fight.

That post is ignorant on the same level of thinking a dog is "smiling" when they bare their teeth in a threat...
