I just looked at steam summer sale for the first time in my life, and holy ********* i have never wanted a gaming pc more in my life, i mean left for dead 2 for 4 dollars holy just holy. I have never wanted to waste generously throw all my money at something so hard. I am drooling.
Yeah, that's how I was when I first saw a Steam sale. I got a game for $1.49, and thought " **** yeah." It is definitely a market for the frugal, and the summer sale is among the best time to get things, that's when the prices get super low. If you do PC gaming at all I definitely recommend it, even more so now that they have added refunds, which was a problem for people.
One of my favorite features though are the customer reviews, that way you can find out if a game is worth spending your hard earned money on.
Papers Please. I actually really like it, it's paperwork but it's fun. Maybe it's the calling people out on their ******** that's the best part.
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD. Didn't launch for me, had to get a refund. And I REALLY wanted to play it too.
Crypt of the NecroDancer. Groovy.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. Just working on getting a functional park up and running, the death park will come later.
Left 4 Dead 2. Got gifted to me, so that's nice. Basically just as I remember from my days on the Xbox 360, with the exception of the Shrek Tank.
To The Moon. Haven't played it yet.
And the Gage Mod Courier DLC for Payday 2, cause **** it. Doesn't matter that 15 FPS is the norm in that game for me.
> death park will come later
Ha ha ha, brilliant. I picked up Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 myself. First thing my friend asked me was "how many people have you killed?" None yet, but when I press play, the carnage will begin.
I only have a debit card set up to my dream account for exactly this reason. Limit the spending. Only problem is, I went on a day trip THE DAY BEFORE THE SALE STARTED AND DROVE MYSELF BROKE AND I GET PAID LITERALLY THE DAY AFTER THE SALE ENDS
i bought borderlands 2 dlc i mean the headhunter packs, not the presequel , lego worlds basically minecraft but legos and the deadliest warrior dlc for Chivalry. The click game heroine hero has been really good for taking the buying edge off.
So far:
Papers, Please - Was on Sale
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - AKA the game that ******* bricked my laptop, also on sale
Lethal League - Was a gift, a good game if you got to play it with someone
Sunless Sea - Gifted to a friend
Got skrim, legendary, and fallout, new vegas w/ all DLC. I still have 26 bucks left. Any idears? Savage lands looks good, but it's early access. The only thing that keeps me at bay.
