Talk with me. Leave me comments. Talk with me about anything. I can prom1se a conversation that will be enjoyable.

It's a g4mble. It's a risk. You talk to a psychopath, you might find life a bit more strange afterwards.

But I am soft. I will not change suddenly, and for no reason.
I am consistent and constant.

Easy to speak with. Take a leap of faith. Learn something. What do you really have to lose?

I have no idea what this means, and you are not even around to respond to it, so goodbye.

you know i really hate calling things edgy because it sounds autistic, but this post reeks of edginess
User avatar #6 to #5 - lathyrusvii [OP](03/14/2015) [-]
Yeah yeah, I've heard it before. Often, in fact. A lot.

Like, you aren't even original. Christ. Boring. You're boring. Insult me more ******* creatively.
User avatar #8 to #6 - youregaylol (03/14/2015) [-]
Too much time is spent digging into simple people. More often than not an idiot just deserves to be called an idiot, nothing more.

Maybe everyone calls you edgy because you sound like a prepubescent 14 year old who just watched Frasier.
User avatar #10 to #8 - lathyrusvii [OP](03/14/2015) [-]
Too much time is spent digging into simple people? Yes. Too much time is pent digging into people? No. Dig, and if gold shows in the first few seconds, dig a bit further. You shall be surprised.

An idiot deserves his title. And perhaps everyone calls me edgy because they themselves are idiotic, and yet know nothing enough to accuse me of anything?

Fraiser was a **** show. I rarely watch TV. Talk to me, stranger. You sound intelligent enough. Challenge me. Come. Throw fire at me. I am eager to hear wisdom from your lips.

Sociopath tries on the face of a still-functional social misfit with a schizo-affective disorder. Well done. Entertaining, but also irritating. Do another. How many faces can this sociopath wear?

o_O Asshat comments on things while attempting to carry himself as Sherlock and yet understands very little about deduction, confusing it with induction.

Do more research before you spew drivel in the face of that which you don't understand.
User avatar #16 to #14 - criticaladvisor (03/16/2015) [-]
How, please enlighten me, did I induce these symptoms that I have merely posited in jest?

What further research would be possible? Converse with you and examine your neurosis? Blatantly ask you leading questions and insult your intelligence? You offer nothing but petty insults and contrived pseudo-intellectualism, i.e. pretentiousness. And even if we were to engage in a rational conversation tempered by mutual respect, a nearly certain impossibility at this point, what is to be gained from examining your bizarre and obnoxious affect? All conceivable resolutions are devoid of any positive effect. Again, I ask for enlightenment. What is there to be gained?
User avatar #18 to #16 - lathyrusvii [OP](03/16/2015) [-]
How are you going to ask for enlightenment in the same breath as skepticism?
You damn me with the label ' pseudointellectual ' offhandedly and try no further to push forth past your bias and attempt different methods by which to understand the person in front of you.
I have a history. I have a lot of posts on here which you may use to build a more complete profile, and even observe instance in which I switch from being obnoxious to respectful in the span of two posts.

I did mean inductive reasoning, hence the word ' induction ' instead of ' induce. '

Wait, I got caught up in dealing with life, so you get to take a back seat. Uh. **** you and whatever. I'll be back when I feel like it. <^> Go to hell. Learn something. Prick.
User avatar #17 to #16 - criticaladvisor (03/16/2015) [-]
Perhaps though, you meant to use the term inductive reasoning which still does not apply to anything I said. I offered no arguments, no theory, no means for you to derive a structure for my reasoning. You incorrectly accuse me of presuming deduction as I have little premise for my statement and make no attempt to disguise that fact. It was, in short, a joke.

As for your last spurt of hostility; in future attempts to insult people, it may be worth noting, the words "spew" and "drivel" have contradictory connotations. It seems unlikely that you would want to leave the thrust of your insult flaccid and impotent.

blah blah blah my name is critical and I'm an advisor and I like visors and being critical but blah blah don't know definitions of words when I accuse other people of using words incorrectly rgarhargarha

Yeah, I swang by here for something else, wanted to check in and say hi.

So. Hiya.
User avatar #22 to #21 - criticaladvisor (03/19/2015) [-]
Hiya,
Don't forget the critical "ad" part. I like visors with ads. Sheesh.

Connotations. Not definitions. As connotations are not literal definitions, they are not necessarily consistent across cultures. Most connotations are derived from archaic meanings or literary use, but a connotation is also affected to words by pop culture and media influence. If one's primary exposure to language is via internet, one can reasonably be expected to attribute different connotations to words. I don't pass judgement on people for their environments. My initial jab was vitriolic and in poor taste, so I assumed you would lack all respect for anything further I had to say. However, from my perspective, you think therefore you matter. Whether this sentiment is relevant to you is left to you.
I didn't tell you that you had used your words incorrectly so much as suggest you could have used them more effectively.
User avatar #23 to #22 - lathyrusvii [OP](03/19/2015) [-]
I... o_o

SEE, WE CAN BE RESPECTFUL LOGICAL PEOPLE.

Anyway, I'll take you up on this and level approximately to where you are, cause you suddenly turned out to be interesting as well.
I would totally respond to what you wrote with some sort of critique of what you said, except that I am absolutely shot through right now, and even if I do understand the big words, they're still complex and it'd take me (figuratively) forever to flop uselessly through your lexicon.

So uh. Instead, I'll drop this line here, and maybe actually attempt a dialogue worth having here like... in two or three days? My work schedule is keeping my ass firmly planted to the ground, so I've no wits to fight with.

Anyway, I probably rescind any ******** I flung your way. <<

So. Truce? Then later... interesting stuff to talk about, maybe?

Maybe see you in a few days. :3 Take care.
User avatar #24 to #23 - criticaladvisor (03/19/2015) [-]
Truce.
And...take your time. Good things are worth waiting for. Also, bothersome as it may be, real life is always the priority.

You take care as well.
Warm regards.

I do. Gauges for what, by the way? and what are gauges?

I have them, though, by the way. Because I'm hipster.

Wait, earrings? You mean those? God no.

**** , ow, that hurts me to think about.
