there is literally no reason why Toon Ganondorf shouldn't be a fighter in SSB

bluemagebrilly (01/09/2016) [-] It's a shame we'll never see a proper Ganondorf in Super Smash... Not while Sakurai is in charge, at least. I mean, they could have at least gave him Dead Man's Volley. It's his signature attack. Uses it in almost every fight you have with him.
A sword is meh. While he used it in Twilight Princess, and two of them in Wind Waker, it wasn't really his main form of attack in Ocarina of Time. He was mostly just magical force. But giving him a sword and some of the techniques Demise uses would have been great.
But nope, Sakurai likes Ganondorf how he is, despite the man's claims to "wanting to keep the characters how they were meant to be."

evilkingganon [OP](01/09/2016) [-] I haven't played any since melee and even then it felt like he was lackin. Mostly because he was just a cpt falcon shadow. Im like you i see they wasted his character potential. Instead they just wanna add more bs characters. Kinda wish i had a Wii i wanted to see if hyrule warriors was any count

bluemagebrilly (01/09/2016) [-] Hyrule Warrior's Ganondorf is good. His outfit is flashy and his hair is too long, but he's overwhelmingly powerful and his abilities show that. That's a proper Ganondorf, even though he uses two blades. While Hyrule Warriors, over all, is just a Dynasty Warrior clone, they do a good job at making the characters at least appear to use their own abilities.
One thing to note about the latest Ganondorf in Smash, however, is that he isn't a 100% clone now for Captain Falcon. About 70%, I'd say. He's got a couple unique moves, but his overall move-set and animations are just Captain Falcon slowed down and powered up. He's definitely better than his melee counterpart in that regard, but he's still not the true King of Evil.
