have you noticed the people who say "if youre in our country you should speak our language" are the same ones who go to foreign countries and dont speak their language

So you think it's ok to go to another country and be an asshole if they don't speak your language? I've witnessed it. I've also seen tourist here get **** because they don't speak English. I get what you're both saying that its about if you live here learn the language. Fair enough but there is still some hypocrisy from SOME Americans not all

if you live in a country you should endeavor to learn the language as a top priority, should be a legal requirement if you want to work in service industry IMO, the amount of taxi drivers ive had that speak literally ******* zero english.
