well there are quite a few black people here, maybe the news makes a strike look like a riot Which it totally is but Cape town is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Fantastic place to go to and It will be extremely cheap for anybody to come here.
Plus the people here are super nice and happy
From my experience people overseas like Europe and America and extremely Unfriendly and kind of dicks like they won't help you if you are bleeding in the street kinda vibe you know?

A case of the worlds best beers either Black label or Windhoek will cost you about R180 (that is about $17)

Stay in the main cities like Cape Town, Durban, or Johannesburg or something they are nice in most parts. You also have to go to the valley of a thousand hills, it's really nice and you can see a real zulu show that they do with drums and dancing and the whole lot. But whatever you do, don't go to Soweto, or any townships. Going there, especially if you're not black will get your ass killed. Also, see if you can go to Hermanus, it's near Cape Town. Hermanus and many different parts of Cape Town have the nicest Fish and Chips on the planet.

All people can get killed if you stray into the bad parts and are caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, but since Apartheid the black community seems pretty bitter about it and have a strong hate for white people, but still. A lot of the older white generation still hates black people because they lived their whole lives with black people as second class citizens. It's mostly the elders that hate each other but some of the new generation is still holding onto it's history. Thankfully, if you go to the nice parts just about every likes each other and are friendly.

The race thing is an issue but white people in townships are gonna be 100% tourists and therefore very muggable. I live in Cape Town. When you arrive, have pre-booked transport to your hotel. Taxis at the airport are generally ok, but you may have your luggage stolen or some **** like that.
Don't just do tourist-y ****, though most of it is definitely worth doing - you'll get ripped off on food and the like around those areas. There are some pretty ballin' places to go like Caledon or Robertson that are only around 2 hours' drive from Cape Town but have scenery completely untouched by people. The Orange Grove farm is a good place in Robertson, it even has free wi-fi and guided hikes if you're into that kind of thing. If you like wine, you can go wine tasting every day for a month and not visit all the vineyards we have.
Again with the safety, if anyone comes up to you and you don't know who they are, just keep walking. Odds are they want you to give them money. If you aren't using a hire car, use Uber or a listed taxi service. Free-lance taxis can be dangerous as they aren't accountable to a firm.

I'm actually probably going to be staying with relatives when I visit and might get picked up by them at the airport so I've got the taxi issue out of the way, but thanks for the heads up.

I'll probably going to Cape Town and Port Elizabeth and have absolutely no idea what there is to do at both of those places, but the things you mentioned do seem interesting.

And free wifi? I'm sold.

Yes, it really is. I was born in Cape Town but moved to Canada when I was young. I've went back before, and the place is very poverty stricken unless you're in the top 1% of white people who live on big ass mansions on the side of mountains. Every single Suburban house HAS to have a big stone wall or some other kind of wall around their house because of the level of crime. Not to mention the people who are running the country are extremely corrupt and criminally stupid, and they hate white people with such a passion they are trying to do a whole reverse apartheid thing. But if you go to visit as a tourist and stay out of the dangerous parts it's very nice.

**** Africa. They are the scum of the earth, I wish the entire people were completely wiped out. We need a new genocide there. The land is fine though, it has diamonds and oil, so just get rid of the people and we're good. Rome was about 2000 years ago. They had these beautiful marble buildings, running water in many places, a basic plumbing system. Look at most parts of Africa today. Mud huts and ****. They are useless, idiotic, worthless people. Get rid of them all. I'm talking about Africans living in Africa, not all black people like African Americans. Once they move out of that **** hole it seems to improve. It's a hopeless continent. We need to stop wasting our time helping them, it wont do any good. Scientists say that life originated in Africa, meaning they've had more time than any other group on people on the entire planet to get their **** together, but they failed. Miserably.

I'd like to point out that Liberia is a **** hole mostly because of white people. During the closing days of slavery a movement gained ground to send slaves and freedmen back to Africa, where they promptly enslaved those Africans with the techniques they learned from the white man. The name Liberia was inspired by the word Liberty and the capitol Monrovia is named after president Monroe, now the place is ruled by a handful of drug dealing warlords, food is scarce so people dig up graves to eat the corpses, nine year olds are doing heroin on the streets, ****** bad. There was this one guy, General Butt Naked who fought, you guess it, butt naked. He and his followers believed that if you split open the back of a child and ate the beating heart you could not be wounded in battle, then they would strip down to show their bravery and fight whoever they were told to kill at the time. Eventually Butt Naked ate something like twenty something thousand people and was on trial for crimes against humanity and such, but they let him off the hook because he was part of some religion. It wouldm't be a paradise without white intervention, but it'd be a touch better than it is now.

Truth be told, dude: The people of North Africa don't have the resources we have access to. They have diamonds. Things that people don't really need. And the parts of Africa that have oil are the parts that aren't owned by Northernmost inhabitants.

They are the way they are because of their people's tradition, and it was fine like that for thousands of years before we started "saving" them or whatever with missionaries. Are they as advanced as they've gotten because of US relief? Yes. And that's good for them.

Well the difference is that they're not all happening at one time.
It wasn't in the dark ages during the dark ages.
I'm not current on the politics today, but there doesn't seem to be very much conflict at the moment.
I don't know if an american would just think: "Darfur genocide and Rwandan Genocide? We have to help Africa!" No, you have to help West Sudan and Rwanda.
I'm pretty sure Tunisia is doing fine.
I'm also gonna guess here and say that it develops less slowly because of the living conditions. Largest desert up top, large jungle down below. Not many good resources to sell in the desert.
Scroll up north and you can see the UAE is doing fine. Why? Oil. Most countries don't have oil. If they all had oil i'm sure africa would be a much different story.
There are also some retarded leaders who take power. Hell I was hopin that when they overthrew Gaddafi and Mubarak it would start a chain reaction. But it'll happen later.

Africa is like a hot pocket after you microwave some places are cool, some places are hot as ****.
