You know, I completely disregarded all the native food. What you just said reminded me of it. When I was little we used to go to a fort in Illinois and stay for a week. It was kind of like a ren-fair, but it was set in 15th century french fur trading instead. One of the big things was the buffalo barbeque. That's about as American as it gets if you ask me.

Well, it should have come to me pretty much instantly, because I spent so much time around Indians and their food. Their food... You know how the Cherokee settle arguments?
