I can't for the life of me find this game. Maybe you can help...

it's a browser game where you're a kid who goes through this house trying to figure out why the ghosts died and you can either make them happy or sad and it has different endings and **** . It's rather cute and not scary at all, and is in a pseudo-3D top view if I remember correctly. I also believe it is purely point-and-lick, so no arrow keys.

Winner gets something special.

just move around and interact with what you can interact with.
it's not a puzzle, you will spend most of your time walking around in the mansion.

I'm pretty sure that's the one you were talking about. You collected nets and had to catch elves as you climb the mountain and solve math or English problems (they made like 10 of these ******* ).

yeah, see what I mean? It's hard to put keywords like "ghost" or "haunted" without getting all the scary games (which I've played most). I guess I'll just have to go through like every single point-and-click game on a few websites to find it.
