not at professional sporting events usually. whenever i go to nfl games i have to show proof of tickets anytime i enter a section. maybe at random regular season baseball games though where only 30% of the stadium is full, but ive never been to a baseball game so i wouldnt know
Yeah, baseball games are hardly ever packed, and when they are there won't be any dollar tickets sold anyways. Normally get a dollar ticket and sit behind the 3rd base line like right behind the main aisle, any closer and they'll start checking for tickets.
Man I wanna laugh at these girls for looking stupid, but while they're out enjoying themselves with a group of friends I spend all of my Friday and Saturday nights alone
The thing is, they went out to have fun at a baseball game, you know, something that involves looking at the game. Not exactly the place to just take selfies completely ignoring the game to take some pictures.
They can go enjoy themselves else where. It makes you look like an ass. That's like going out to see a concert but put on earphones to listen to your own music.
People like me who hate sports but are forced to attend at times. Thankfully everyone around me is well aware of that fact so I stay home and get the house to myself for a few hours. Does that excuse these girls? From what I can tell, no.
Trust me man there is nothing fun about sitting surrounded by people obsessed with their phones. You might as well be by yourself, but you'd actually feel less ****** . The only time they'll pay attention to youis to take a photo and like hell they'll delete it if it looks like **** , they will upload your fake-ass smile everywhere.
shhhh, I spent it with my friend out in the town. We scavenged for water supplies and firewood, some cloths to make our bed and we had to hide on top of the roof of this abandoned building because we were surrounded and scared. H1Z1 is a fun game.
Whenever I hang out with friend recently they are on their phones all the ******* time even when im talking to them
Thank god my close friends aren't doing that ******** , it annoys me so much
Also, you shouldn't envy them. They go to a baseball game when they clearly don't care about baseball. Just so they can get pictures of themselves doing an activity and impress their friends. Whatever you do, do it because you enjoy it, not because you think it looks good.
At least your spending your Fridays and Saturdays alone with hundreds of us. Thousands of us. Lots of us. We love you man, to us, you're one of the guys.
Food is greasy and makeup is easily smudged. Knife and fork means your hands stay clean and your makeup is flaw-free.
source: a girl who is a friend who ate bigass NY slice of pizza with knife and fork. While we were on a damn bus.
It was a sight to behold
I know right, and that's the problem. I too hate sports and when I'm forced to attend I bring other means of entertainment, but outside of that I try to hang out with my irl friends when the chance arises (Fridays and the rare Saturday nights when I'm alone). However I will admit I'm on the computer too much considering I don't have much else to do for the time being.
That's why I threw away my smartphone... I have a regular cell phone now, back to the roots!
It ****** stole my attention too often, as I didn't have enough discipline to just sit back, close my eyes and think about life (when I had to wait somewhere).
I really hate to sound like some old, bitter, fogey that doesn't like it when other people enjoy themselves, but come on. The self obsession of people today is ******* ridiculous, you can't have an experience without taking a selfie, and they all look the goddamned same! I would get taking pictures when you go to events, you want a few of the people there with you but you also want pictures of the actual event, but when people are taking selfies it's just the same idiotic pose, you wouldn't be able to tell where they are or what they're doing if not for the caption "at a baseball game with all my vapid, basic friends". I can't explain the rage I feel when I'm trying to engage with someone and they look down at their phone and stop to snap chat or *************** . I was at a restaurant the other day and there was a couple across from my group, they were just sitting in silence, eating their food and looking at their phones, totally expressionless faces to match their empty heads. It's a ******* modern tragedy, I tell ya.
