There are plenty of methods to try but it's actually perfectly healthy to break it into two sleeps so try to get back to sleep around 4am-ish. Try to only move around and work in dim lights e.g. candlelight levels to stop yourself from waking up too much. If you have to use a computer or your phone change the colour settings or use something like f.lux and dim the screen to it's lowest settings. it's a perfect time to make some sandwiches or something simple ready for when you wake up later.

Yeh, i dont know why they haven't legalized it yet, but it'll soon be legal considering alot of places are legalizing it

My friend made this argument stating all the benefits from legalizing it.

after reading a logical statement and all the benefits it came with I stopped hating on people wanting to legalize it since it was a "Bad drug/gateway drug"

when you only get 2 hours of sleep and have to work for 8 hours you really start seeing **** that you think you are going crazy man, I double taked almost everything cause it felt like something was watching me or i saw something dart across the room it really takes a toll to your sanity that you start questioning things

Melatonin helps, if you have not tried it, already. Some are sub lingual dissolve under tongue for fast action. Melatonin is turned into serotonin the chemical your brain needs to induce R.E.M. sleep in your brain.

I will try to find some of this when im out shopping for supplies

Too much Melatonin can constipate you so, you can balance that with 250mg of magnesium, if you are having problems. Magnesium will relax your muscles to help you sleep, as well. (take both at the same time) Also, remember doses matter but, brands don't, for Magnesium & Melatonin.

I have gotten more used to it, have been going for years, now. Like 5 years, I think. (usually stems from anxiety) It makes you more easy to lose your temper, that was my biggest grief.

A good technique to get to sleep faster is, around 2 hours before bed make sure to not go on any screens. It calms your mind down. Reading a book before bed also helps.

Waking up at 4am ain't so bad.

I tend to wake up 3-4am. I'm always well rested and I get so much **** done before the day starts
User avatar #4 to #2 - polarpulse [OP](11/13/2015) [-]
Yea, but I wake up that early and then around 7am i crash and just fall back asleep and wake up at 4pm

I think i might get on sleeping pills but my mom is worried I'll get addicted to them i'm 21
User avatar #5 to #4 - ubercookieboy ONLINE (11/13/2015) [-]
As long as you understand that they are only meant to quickly correct your sleeping pattern.

Your doctor shouldn't give you more than a weeks dose

Do i have to go to a doctor? how expensive is it if so?

and I don't have a family doctor

I live with my mom, but its 6 am and she's asleep

I use to have this bottle of pills that sort of relaxed my brain since I had problems with over thinking and constantly thinking, I had a real bad habit of over analyzing simple solutions making it over complicated and stressing out my brain, because of it
User avatar #14 to #12 - ubercookieboy ONLINE (11/13/2015) [-]
That could be your problem

I can't sleep when I'm thinking about stuff, so I just forget all about it and let my mind wander
User avatar #16 to #14 - polarpulse [OP](11/13/2015) [-]
I guess i should go buy more of it

my brain is always actively thinking it stresses me out because of my over thinking and negativity it lead to me thinking someone was cheating on me(when i was in a relationship with some chick), because the way they were acting and not talking to me as often.

but anyways i really need to get my sleep fixed because I'm starting to get paranoid because of the lack of sleep and hallucinating

I thought my light bulb was a giant spider cause of the shadow it was giving off
