Thought I'd give you an update

A few days ago a video went viral. It was a homeless guy in Paris who got his puppy violently snatched from him by animal rights activists. They justified their action by saying the puppy was drugged, mistreated, illegally owned yadda yadda yadda.

( Sauce in English www.rt.com/news/316485-activists-steal-dog-homeless )

Well French Justice finally said something. The dog will be given back to the homeless guy ( turns out he legally owns the dog, what a shocker) and the people who stole the dog will face justice for thieve and assault. Yay.

Tbh, most homeless people i see with dogs treat them pretty well, they always have food and water, they are always with them, always look happy. They are probably treated a lot better than in some households where they are neglected

My only worry in California is when it was 110 degrees outside we had homeless with dogs sitting in the sun begging, and the dog look super over heated. They all had water bowls but I was always worried one might get hurt from so much direct heat with all that fur.

Honestly I think being homeless can probably be a damn good life for a dog. They get to be outside all day and never leave the side of their best friend. Add in food and water, and what more could a dog ask for?

It's because no matter what,a dog will always be loyal to you i think
it's here for you,it help you stay a little hotter at night when you don't have any choice but to sleep outside...
It's your loyal buddy, always at your side no matter what

A coworker of mine used to be homeless. He had a collie and said that even though he was a rampant alcoholic he always bought dog food over booze.

when I was homeless my dog was always my priority. She still is.

Many homeless are all alone, feeling defeated and shunned by society. To a person like that, the unconditional love of a dog can be the most valuable thing in the world. The only family you may have. The only thing that keeps telling you, "You're worth something, and there is hope." That is the reason the original video was so polarizing. You see a man who's lost everything but the bond he shares with his dog and yet you try to take that from him too? It's just vile.

Hells yeah, I'm glad as **** that people made this popular enough to make the authorities take action.

Thank you for sharing this OP. I've been wanting to see what this would come to. I'm glad it was a more favorable outcome, and I'm also glad those cunts didn't make money off of selling the dog.

In some court room in Paris after the judge had heard the case and the plea of the "animal rights activists" went: Hon hon hon hon hon hon hon ! Non ...

**** yeah

I think they should be thrown into prison and they should 'accidently let it slip' that they abuse animals.
User avatar #62 to #21 - ohemgeezus ONLINE (10/03/2015) [-]
You know abusing animals and abusing children aren't the same thing, right?
User avatar #65 to #62 - eurgh (10/03/2015) [-]
You know that regardless, people don't look too highly on people that abuse the weak in general.
User avatar #68 to #65 - ohemgeezus ONLINE (10/03/2015) [-]
My point is if someone "lets slip" that they abused animals, it'll have a lesser impact than if they abused children. But yeah, I'm sure the people in prison for rape, murder, drug charges are totally going to care about a couple people that stole a dog from a homeless guy.
User avatar #69 to #68 - eurgh (10/03/2015) [-]
you don't say took away the dog, you say abused a puppy.

Rapists get ******* smashed up pretty bad in prison. but those murderers and whatnot would want to show them what 'picking on the defenseless' feels like on the recieiving end
User avatar #70 to #69 - ohemgeezus ONLINE (10/03/2015) [-]
Again, that takes me back to my main point that you're implying anyone is going to care. You seem to be confusing jail with prison, they're not the same thing. Prison is where that sorta **** goes down, not jail.

Disgusting French ***** . You take a mans' dog, and you no longer deserve to be on this Earth in my book.

Seeing how it went virally,i'm happy of this outcome
there was a video of him talking on the phone in romanian with false translation making him speak about puppic traffic n **** ,until a real translator said that the conversation had nothing to do with dogs
In a time where poor people are ostracised sometimes,it's heartwarming to see something like this

"who got his puppy violently snatched from him by animal rights activists."
Why is it than when you put "activist" at the end of something it suddenly becomes much worse?
User avatar #156 to #151 - thechosentroll (10/04/2015) [-]
Because in this day and age it's become a synonym for "morons".
User avatar #72 - meatygoodness (10/04/2015) [-]
As nice as it is that he's getting his little buddy back, it's not enough.

Those three dickbags who stole it from him have to suffer.
User avatar #75 to #72 - burytia (10/04/2015) [-]
what if they get ****** DOGGY style in prison?
User avatar #113 to #75 - elenalkarnur ONLINE (10/04/2015) [-]
Actually, if you watch the original video where those animal rights leftist faggots snatched his dog from him, the body language and walk of the man who took it from him says he's a homosexual. So I'm not so sure that getting ass ****** by the other homosexuals in jail would be as bad for him as it would be for a straight man.
User avatar #115 to #113 - burytia (10/04/2015) [-]
true that

lets send him to a russian jail where noone talks to the prison bitch

imagine a couple years where noone...not other inmates or the guards ever talk to you...youre just a non-person
User avatar #76 to #75 - meatygoodness (10/04/2015) [-]
I want their children snatched away from them and put up for adoption with a new name. Heck, take their actual pets off them and put them up for adoption; if they named the dog Vegan because they are, I'm sure they're mistreating a cat or two with a vegan diet. Idiots.
User avatar #77 to #76 - burytia (10/04/2015) [-]
**** theres already been people caught basically killing their pets trying to force them to eat veggies

there should be a way to earmark people who do this and have them federally banned from coming within a certain distance from animals
User avatar #78 to #77 - meatygoodness (10/04/2015) [-]
Yes! Ban them from owning or keeping animals due to past offences! It's the perfect way to stop them abusing animals and to stop them following misguided or harmful ideals about animal welfare in one fell swoop
User avatar #79 to #78 - burytia (10/04/2015) [-]
plus ban them from having any say in anything to do with animals.... they cant work in peta or any pet store, animal grooming, vets, or comment on animal-related surveys or the like online
User avatar #80 to #79 - meatygoodness (10/04/2015) [-]
Because it's clearly a misguided moral agenda over actually wanting to help animals, judging by the stress they put that puppy through
User avatar #81 to #80 - burytia (10/04/2015) [-]
true story

they dont care about animals they just want to play some fake whiteknight agenda they dont think lower class people should have pets

for all we know the homeless guy could go without food and shelter to make sure his dog gets those things first but those ***** think only people with homes and jobs can have pets
User avatar #84 to #81 - meatygoodness (10/04/2015) [-]
With the amount of money organisations like pets spend solely on advertisements, it's very clear animals are not at the forefront of their agenda. Not all animal welfare groups are bad, but they attract hippie idiots who only do it to bolster their own sense of righteousness and for another ****** topic to drone about to their ****** hippy friends
User avatar #85 to #84 - burytia (10/04/2015) [-]
same deal as the douches who wont let gays adopt kids but allow **** families to adopt simply because theyre straight
