If we could put him in the basement, take his stapler, and forget to pay him, that would be great.

Most jobs above the pay grade of retail do just that

i know this is rare, but i have never actually been rejected for a job if i got an interview , its not that i apply for **** jobs, ive been interviewed for jobs i have never done, hell my job before last i applied as a warehouse manager, even though i didnt have my forklift ticket, had only ever managed retail stores and had never worked in a warehouse, ran that place like a pro for 2 years till i had to move, got my ticket before i started and they paid for me to get my truck license. never been fired either. so the frustration people have with these things confuses me a little.

i see lots of unemployed people getting butthurt, i dont have a uni degree, dont need one. also, when i managed a retail store, i was earning 90k a year, not really a **** job when you look @ the average wage. but hey, you guys have crippling debt from a student loan you cant pay off because you cant get a job in that field, meanwhile, ill sit back here and own my house, look after my family. also im an Ausi, so my country doesnt **** me from every angle. have fun amerifags

presuming i'm from murica, granted that most of this site is but i'm not.
And again you sound like an ass pretty much saying that "its that unemployed persons fault for not being able to get a job" and haven't considered what other peoples situation may be.

I like how you don't deny the after work bukakke sesh's. Now, since you gave us some numbers, let's do the math: I assume you might have at least 3 people working above you in management. Now let's say you work 250 days a year. That means 90 000 / (250 * 3) = $120 or less per facial. But I guess you also have to do some actual work, so you're underselling yourself, my friend. On the other hand, you get your daily dose of protein. But given your track record, I'd still ask for more. Good luck!
#75 to #74 - arrakasi (12/29/2015) [-]
you seem to have a thing for wanting to cum, or see a group of men cum, on another guys face. is it your fetish? or just a quest to find someone that has been through the same thing as you?
#76 to #75 - lalajlalaj (12/29/2015) [-]
I was friendly, tried to give actual advice, but you seem like the kind of person who needs to learn from their own mistakes. So be it. But as a kind-hearted person, I'll just say it once more: DON'T be afraid to ask for more! You're worth it! God bless!
#77 to #76 - arrakasi (12/29/2015) [-]
i have enough to pay all my bills, including a mortgage, live comfortably and save for my kids futures. i have enough, people often over value themselves, which causes them to be bitter when thier own self evaluation is more than what they are getting. the strive for more than one needs is self destructive, i wasnt given a good start in life, but i have made do with the hand that was dealt to me, and more importantly, im happy. the reason i have had so many jobs, is because if i get up day after day and hate the idea of going to work, i quit. i go find a new one.

I've worked on farms, minesites, retail, small business admin, truck driving, warehouses, i currently work as a telco salesman, aswell as running my own repair business.

The idea of asking for more doesnt appeal to me, if my needs increase, ill ask, and if i dont get it, then ill go work somewhere else, or ill work more jobs. I'm only 26, i have all the time in the world, as long as my 3 kids and mrs have what they need, then im happy.
User avatar #80 to #77 - krando (12/29/2015) [-]
you think that you're that self entitled to being promoted? "if i ask and dont get then i'll work somewhere else" sounds like you're a workaholic.
#78 to #77 - lalajlalaj (12/29/2015) [-]
Yeah, I see the appeal of that mind set, but sometimes life doesn't go the way we expect it, so that little extra money in your bank account is a good idea. But it's up to you, naturally. I also admire that you enjoy the sesh's that much ("repair business", *wink* *wink*). I mean, you gotta love what you do, I'm glad you figured it out so early in your life! Going furniture shopping with the wife, so I won't be around until later tonight. Thanks for the chat & good luck!

"confuses me a little"
Well I can break it down for you real simple.
There are jobs out there that have relatively high standards, and relatively high repercussions if those standards aren't met. Relative to a ******* manager at a walmart, that is.

I'm pretty sure if the lawyer in OP's post applied to be a forklift driver in a warehouse instead of a law firm, he would get the job. After all, it doesn't take a genius to drive a forklift, and there aren't exactly people lining up for that job.

So you want to know why you've been hired for every job you applied for?
Because you probably didn't apply for many jobs, there weren't many other applicants for that job, and you were less retarded than the rest of them.
Congratulations.

>you guys have crippling debt from a student loan you cant pay off because you cant get a job in that field
That sure is a lot of assumptions about someone you know nothing about.

If you were really happy with your situation, you wouldn't be trying so hard to convince everyone you're happy with your situation.
Clearly I struck a nerve, but only to help you realize you came off sounding like an ignorant jackass in your post #9. I really do wish you the best in your future forklift endeavors.

I've never been rejected once I actually reach the interview phase.
Getting an interview seems to be the tough part for me, I get rejected plenty before that, but if I actually sit down face to face with a person, I always get the job.

Oh boy, being a manager for multiple stores sure is a ****** job, right?

Sure, being a manager isn't a superb job, but it's not an entry level job like being a dishwasher or busser.

User avatar #60 to #59 - minecraftlamer (12/28/2015) [-]
being a dishwasher isnt even a job. its a ******* chore. everything related to retail or bar/food industry are all ******** except for 1, and that is when you own the damn store/bar whatever.

there are ******** that pay good money tho.

User avatar #73 to #62 - minecraftlamer (12/29/2015) [-]
i did never say dishes did not need to be done, i say the job as a concept is more of an overgrown chore then an actual job. peasant
#81 to #73 - shyyguy (12/29/2015) [-]
Sorry, if I had known I was talking to someone of such a young age I would have been nicer. Here is the definition of "job". If you need any further assistance with definitions of words, please check your dictionary or search the word in google. Fun Activity: Try searching "chore" right now!

So, in this case, being a dishwasher is definitely a job, just an entry level job which would classify it as a " ****** " job. Unless you are doing it for free in a restaurant, which in normal circumstances, is illegal.
