Literally, nothing you can do if bear bro decides to eat you. That guys heart must have been slapping his ribs like a 9 pound hammer.
True, but contrary to popular belief, grizzlies are pretty chill. They are definitely near the top of the list of animals you shouldn't piss off, but they typically don't give a **** about people because we're not a threat to them. Sometimes just shooing them away can get them to leave. They're very strange animals.
obviously if it were bigger and meaner or its cubs were nearby you'd probably be pepsi

If it's a pussy-pistol, sure.
A .50 or a .500 would make bear of dead.

If you shoot a bear, even if it's only a flesh wound, the bear will probably freak out and run off, it won't risk injury unnecessarily and it will avoid a fight with an opponent that can harm it in ways it doesn't understand.
depends on the caliber, something like a 44 would slow it down, a 454 casull or 500 mag would work.

I am not saying this to start an argument. I just want to possibly save your life. The 10mm is an amazing round, but you shouldn't use anything less than a .44 magnum against large grizzlies. There have even been documented accounts of when a .44 wasn't enough to bring one down. The glock 20 may have more rounds than a typical .44 revolver, but with that you are assuming you're going to have enough time to get off several rounds and that the rounds will be effective. That would have to happen as a grizzly is barreling towards you at 35 mph. All that being said, a can of bear spray is still your best option. It is over 95% effective at deterring bears. Handguns, even the larger caliber ones, I believe are less than 60% effective. If someone has the exact statistic, they should post it.
well their head is big and in front, the only problem is having a caliber good enough to penetrate their thick skulls.
but as i said, 10 mm is the bees memes and will easily take care of a bear. but if i were in bear country id have a glock 20 and a 30-06 or .308 or something else of that area. all it comes down to is putting the rounds in them.

ive been in pretty ****** situations before so i believe i can handle killing a bear. Actually to me it doesnt sound too bad, i mean if you are well equip you shouldnt worry too much.
Ive been shooting since i was 12 too

That's a black bear, they can get scared off. What you have up there is a grizzly, and they are normally chill, but if they aren't you better have some high caliber **** or you become lunch.
