Actually kinda yes, there's no way the material that door is made of could withstand the pressure required to push abck against that water, at the end of it all there wouldn't be much of a door left so it's not exactly...openned

And that, kids, is why you don't found a country below sea level, especially next to the ******* sea.

It just rained a lot, none of this is caused by the sea

Obviously. If it were caused by the sea there'd be a massive nation-wide flood. I'm just saying that having a country that's basically a bowl of people, surrounded by water, is a bad idea.

Not the whole country is below sea level though all the important places like The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam are. But ye, we have tons of countermeasures to stop the sea like automated doors which open when the water level's too high to let water out into the sea and a lot of extra dykes and stuff. I'd say it's more stupid to build cities over Fault Lines like they do in the US.

Both seem a bit stupid to me. Quite a bit of architecture around the world seems kind of retarded. Like how in Japan they decided to build most nuclear reactiors on the side of the islands that's facing the Pacific, which happens to be the side where tsunamis and massive storms come from. They built **** on the dangerous side instead of one of the safe sides.

um, water pressure is defined by each point submerged, P = rgh =(1.03 x10^3 kg/m3) (9.8 m/s2) (1.2 m) = 1.21 x10^4 Newtons/m2 (Pa) or 12.100KiloPa, security glasses can hold 69 MegaPa at least, so I guess that glass would be security glass or stronger, since common glass would break with that pressure
