i dont get why people preach so much about cigarettes. It's their choice what they do, regardless of how stupid it is. My dad's 50 and he's been smoking all his life and he looks 40 if anything. There are more serious health issues out there like tard moms who take their swine offspring to mcdonalds every other day. We're always bashing smokers on just that soul fact. They can't smoke in bars anymore it's ridiculous. People think they can yell at someone who's smoking in public for "harming their child" meanwhile that cow is poisoning her kid every damn day

I completely understand smoking in bars, but it should be the owner's choice. There are some bars that cater to cigar smokers for example, that have taken a hit to business. Banning smoking in retail stores, family restaurants, etc. does make sense. I smoke, but I don't try to blow it in anyone's face or anything. If someone asks me politely to stop or move away from them (it's always assholes who say to stop and not just move away it seems.) I will gladly respect their wishes.

Found the smoker.

Mcdonalds everyday is worse than smoking? I'm fairly sure smoking is way more addicting than fatty foods. And unlike obesity, there's no cure for cancer yet. There's other stuff too, but you get the idea.

My dad is a 60 year old smoker and my parents have been sleeping in separate bedrooms for the last ten years while my non-smoking granddad still has dates over at his house. I've decided I'll never marry a smoker and if you too want to have those extra 20+ years of heathy sex at the end of your life, I wouldn't advice you to smoke either

although it's their choice to raise their childeren that way, by smoking, they don't only hurt their childeren, but also the people that are around when they put up a sigaret.
Not to even mention the reason why people start with smoking: to be a part of a group. i mean, i'm not the most convident of people, but i seriously won't start smoking, just so that people will like me. it's just the lowest of the low.
opinion, bring on the red thumbs

Second hand smoke.

Dumb ass.

Dude, it's your choice to smoke, and I respect that. Doesn't change the fact that I don't want to have to inhale that **** . I happen to enjoy masturbating, myself, but I wouldn't go whipping my dick out in public where everyone can see it. Same logic.

Not trying to start a whole "thing" here, but if in a public place such as a park, sidewalk, or while driving, is it not acceptable for someone to smoke? Does smoking make someone less human to the point that they may not enjoy free, open, public air? A smoker can only do so much against the wind. I'm bringing up this point as probably the most polite smoker out there, I try to only smoke in designated areas, and while I'm in those areas, I attempt, as best as possible to predict any cross-winds, and keep my smoke out of the faces of others. I also bring this up as it is a huge debate on my campus. Not only are they banning smoking, which 45% of teaching staff, and nearly 90% of maintenance staff smoke, but they are banning any form of tobacco, chewing tobacco, cigarettes, pipes, and yes, even E-cigarettes. While we are a "dry" campus, we sell alcohol in our arena. Opinions?

Heh, you wouldn't happen to be a Bison, would you?
And, as I said down below, I only dislike smoking when people do it in an enclosed area as there's less air flow. If you smoke outside, the wind goblins usually collect the smoke and chuck it at the sky before it can hit the breathing orifices of others, so that's cool.

I'm a Norse. Well the Pres and the head of student health said that "it's offensive", literally...that's what the bitch said when I asked her why and that's it...we have three smoking areas, and only one in heavy foot traffic area, due to campus construction. It's shown, and a + for dem paint skills. Red squigglies is construction.

Comparing masturbation to smoking...as if all the smokers on the streets are just as bad as a street full of people fapping. **** logic. I smoke and i could care less what anybody thinks. As long as they sell tobacco legally, I'll continue to smoke where i please, within reason.
User avatar #70 to #65 - johnnygoldmane **User deleted account** (10/31/2013) [-]
Yeah, you're right, it wasn't the best comparison. After all, seeing some random person's junk might be unpleasant, but it doesn't have the potential to **** up your body. And, honestly, I only dislike when people smoke in enclosed areas, so I wouldn't take issue with you smoking on the street. Just don't bust that **** out indoors or in places with little airflow, that's all I ask.

Fair enough. I think it all really comes down to respect. I never smoke around non smokers and i throw my butts in the trash when I'm finished. Nasty habit nonetheless but I'm enjoying it while I can. Will quit soon considering my health and the price of smokes in canada (10 bucks a pack)
User avatar #98 to #82 - lilithsupernatural (10/31/2013) [-]
Woah You pay $10 a pack? Where do you live? You can get them on the native reserves in Ontario for 10 pack for $31 for like putters... I guess that also depends on what brand you like..
User avatar #128 to #98 - critality ONLINE (10/31/2013) [-]
heheh, I am also Canadian. the cheapest **** sticks go for about $7 while the usual smokes are around $11-$12 The really nice import smokes are around $15 a pack
User avatar #178 to #128 - lilithsupernatural (11/01/2013) [-]
Woah O.o Thats why I always get the native smokes... So much cheaper.. 200 smokes for 31 bucks :3

I think the world would be a better place if masturbating in public was socially acceptable.

Street cleaners would probably kill themselves over the amount of bodily fluids they'd have to deal with. Alternatively, we could embrace the new layer of slippery gunk coating everything and skate our way around.
User avatar #75 to #50 - johnnygoldmane **User deleted account** (10/31/2013) [-]
I would agree with you, but the potential to slip and fall would be a pretty bad safety hazard in that world, not to mention that any nice clothes of yours would be completely ruined within minutes of stepping outside.
I would support the invention of wanking booths, though. Little boxes with chairs, kleenex, and wifi where you could bust a quick nut before or after work. It would be an amazing stress reliever for the modern man on the go.
