also, the anime is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. This scene is from the movie The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.

What do you mean "Moe anime"?

Haruhi is anything but moe. I think you're thinking about K-On which is definitely the moe anime.

Haruhi is about aliens, time travelers and espers and is STORY driven.

I'd say yes. if only for the movie. The anime itself is pretty good, however there is one aspect of the anime that really hurt it. and that's episodes 12 through 19 which are essentially the same episodes with slightly different dialogue and animated with different angles each episode (The characters are stuck in a time loop that goes on for 8 episodes, so watching the first and last episode of that time loop would be like watching all eight episodes).

So I say if you're going to watch it and enjoy it the most. watch 1- 12 skip 13 - 18, and then watch 19 - 27 and then the movie, which is by far one of the BEST anime movies to come out of japan. (the final episode is also incredibly boring.)

Also, the english dub is phenomenal, but ultimately it's your preference. I personally love the english dub.
