Yea it doesn't deserve its reputation at all. Its combat is by far my favorite out of every MMORPG I've played.
That's not saying it isn't without flaws, but it's still pretty damn fun.
The problem is that skyrim online mod is still in a very early stage. You can connect and walk around, but don't think you can fight agains anything or do any quests yet.
Still, if a lot of hours are put in this mod and it becomes a working multiplayer, then all that is left is to carry it over to fallout 4 once it's released, since it's the same engine, it wouldn't be hard
I personally think multilayer wouldn't fit to the Fallout atmosphere. But nevertheless I would love to see if someone can create a mod like that. I mean playing with a friend might be still fine.
I'm not sure but I think Bethesda once planned to do Fallout Online but canceled it. Or it was just something about another company doing it without the rights, I really can't remember.
that is skyrim online which died out a while back, this video is tamriel online, which is a new different mod, did you even watch the video, that is stuff taken really quickly from it
From what i've seen he's apparently made all this progress within a couple of weeks. I tested it myself with my cousin who has **** internet and it worked pretty damn well (as far as connecting to eachother, and other internet statistics go). I have high hopes for this guy's work and even if he doesn't follow through with it he's set up a wonderful framework for others to pick up. But on reddit he seems very adamant in putting a lot of effort into it. If youre at all interested i'd keep it on radar
Its not working yet
You cant kill stuff or quest togheter so its hardly considerable "working condition" as far as co-op games go
Its a good start but still that title is a lie...
ESO is probably the first MMO I've enjoyed in a long while. It does all the right things, from crafting to combat. If you're into action rpgs then I definitely recommend it.
Peoples biggest issue is they go into it thinking it's going to be Skyrim Online, but it's its own game. The visuals and the HUD are very much reminiscent of Skyrim, but that's where the comparisons stop.
He used Beta footage and gameplay to make that review. The game is completely different now, regardless. It has the same core mechanics, but most bugs have been fixed, it's buy-to-play, and it's actually quite fun.
As for the console version... Coming from a hardcore PC player of the game, I think it's ****** . The controls are crap and you can't remap them, there's no in-game text chat, the voice chat is filled with idiots, and there's no addon support. If you have a PC that can handle it at medium, the game will be better on PC.
Yeah apparently it was still kinda bug heavy when it first came out, but everythings been smoothed out that I've seen so far (I only played in the beta before it went free to play).
They also added a couple of cool features like the Justice system, so now you can roll a thief and do thief things like breaking into peoples homes and stealing all their **** , then selling it to a fence and loading up on gold.
I got it day 1 with my girlfriend who got me into it. It's pretty solid and fun. Only problems I've found are some bugs. Dragon knights have a dragon leap that freezes every now and then and then there's some server bugs and stuff but nothing that really ruins the game.
