How the hell can you play after all the mods? You'd need 16 GB RAM just for graphics support.....

That's why our glorious masterrace just buys and extra 16 GB set.

I once downloaded a realistic first person POV and a breast physics mod and then promptly ran off cliff.

This doesn't look like skyrim. This looks like some ur-game, forged in some ancient hell.
Why can't my fellow PC gamers be ok with just the regular game experience, why you gotta dillute the game with inferior software?

No matter how amazing the game looks the gameplay will always be dull.

I always feel like that, but then I realize it's like that with every game. No matter what RPG you play, there will always be the same themes throughout almost all of them. Every hallway is a blank corridor with a few enemies. Every house is just the same as a cave with maybe different lighting and wall textures. The weird over-critical gaze people on the internet cast on games is great if you are reviewing the game, but it's best to just zone out during playing a game. If you find skyrim way too streamlined, find a way to play that's better. Don't use fast travel, play on the hardest difficulty, limit your carry weight to be realistic, force yourself to only use certain skill trees so it can fit a playstyle (like a viking, rogue, paladin). It doesn't make sense to have to limit yourself in a game, but whenever it is a game geared for the casual market, it'd only make sense to try and tailor it to your specific wants and desires through mods and self-imposed limitations. I found that putting myself into the character and making decisions as if that character was real, made it feel like there was more story and lore behind everything. There is even a mod named "A new start" or something like that. It gives you a list of options on how to start, and then you simply work from there. It isn't the best game ever made, but it can be made into a very entertaining game to hold someone's attention if only some people would take the time to not judge and over think everything. It's like you should think to yourself "I have to go remove the local bears so I can get more gold. With that gold I can pay for a ride up to the city so I can look for work." Playing the game as if it is real life adds a level of depth that is required for those that are judgmental of all games that they play.
My rant is over. Good day.
