My cat was a weird one. He like to make friends. Sometimes he brings home this gangster looking cat, wih one eye and short tail, another day he brings home 2 kittens who obviously belongs to someone due to their collar and nametags, but the two most weirdest wtf was when he brings home a fluffy rabbit and goddamn German Sheperd.
The fluffy rabbit was our neihbour's, but for the love of me, the German Sheperd was a fully trained one, albeit with no tag.
Or they could break your lease (if it says no pets they legally can), keep your deposit, charge you to have the place cleaned to "get rid of the animal smell" and search your place with a fine tooth comb looking for anything that looks like damage that they could charge you for repairs.
Even if you ask and they say yes, check your lease because they could always pull this **** on you. It is much harder to prove they told you something than it is for them to show the contract you signed. Even if they allow it and there is nothing in your lease about it they may still try to keep your deposit when you move out to clean or remove the carpet and furniture (unless you own the furniture). There is always a risk when it comes to renting a place and owning pets. Better off saving up to buy a place, then you can do what you want.
Cats are protective against anything.
Ever heard of a cat killing a mouse and leaving it for you? that's cause they think you're a **** hunter and don't want you to go hungry.
Cats care a lot more than you think. They also will lay with you when you're sick or sad.
I know my bros cat lays with me when I'm alone spending some time at his house.
