The whole idea that racism is prejudice and power is absolute ******** . No, ************ , racism is racism. Any person on this planet, regardless of race, wealth, gender or anything else can be racist, sexist, ageist, etc. You don't get a free pass and get to be a dick to other innocent people just because your race has been mistreated in the past.

as an asian myself i know how people will always talk **** about you and tell them you can't be part of the issue because you earn enough or your asian race never experienced slavery. Don't know if my view is correct but whenever people bring up the fact that my "people" enslaved amongst other things their "people", I tend to just say I'm Slavic, and we were never part of that.
Bonus point I add is the fact that I've heard several teachers say the term "slave" comes from "Slav"...

It's the culture. Blacks will always see themselves as victims until they choose to educate themselves. The uneducated ones are simply just stupid and are too high in population. Also among themselves and american culture we don't frown upon stupidity and we subtle for failure. With this type of mentality the blacks will never strive for success and they'll continue to seek someone to blame. The whites are the easiest and they're milking that **** for as long as the whites are willing to let them. Once that stream of help ends their only choices are crime and success. As long as we can control their crime and teach them that it's not right then they will strive for success and become like any other person that's not a ******* ****** . Hispanics and Asians aren't dumb enough to think leeching off whites is a good idea. There are plenty of successful american and foreign hispanics and asians who have found much success. Not so much for ******* .

there's a fine line between empathize with one, and just flatout accept what he/she is saying. I for example find what happened in the past horrible, but at the same time it is not this generation or future generations that needs to pay for the sins of our ancestors. This only keeps breeding conflict. I will not feel responsible when someone from a so called repressed minority cries racism over something it has complete control over, and certain will not accept to be blamed for the past.
I will learn from it, but not carry the burden as every person on earth has sinned then through their ancestors.
make sure when trying to educate people about that past to make sure it's about the people in the past...
and not sugarcoat facts that other cultures and races were/still are as bad....Those with some knowledge of world history will know of the slave routes from europe to the middle east,tribal issues in the middle east, south american past and present, the ongoing tribal issues in africa and massive genocides, the systematic killings of whites that currently happens in south africa, china and modern day slavery by their own which gets exploited by us, china's exploitation and slavery in africa (to the point that africans are again wish that the british would rule them), etc etc... it's just a small grab of past and present issues that are all "racist" issues, but yet most get ignored in favour of targetting one of the few cultures that does try to improve racial equality within their own borders.
It's easy to claim the white west adjusted history to forget such things, while it's not just them, but all races and cultures that have tried to forget their horrible past.
Only then it's acceptable to say : yeah white people in the past did some horrible **** and we must make sure to not repeat that...

I've noticed that with the attacks on Paris, people are suddenly using it as a reason to get mad at "white privileged people."
Like, yesterday, everyone was all concerned about Paris. Today, everyone is yelling at everyone else: "How DARE you be concerned about Paris when other countries go through the same and worse!"
Like, geez, chill.
It also happened with Gay marriage - the day it happened, the world was thrilled. The NEXT day, (at least on my FB feed) people were pissed, especially those complaining about racism. "How dare you celebrate gay people getting rights when black people haven't got what we wanted!"
Like... stop making every single thing a reason to bash on white people or a reason to turn the spotlight on yourself. There's more than one cause in the world.
I feel like those who complain about their lack of equalities had better be only adopting children, strict vegans, donating any salary above living wages to charities, etc. Otherwise, they're kind of hypocrites - "how dare you not understand MY special cause, but I'm not going to make any effort to help anyone else's cause."

If you call yourself good, or even civilized, then you by default must learn decorum and tolerance. There is a standard of behavior you must adhere by, and loyalty to your people and to your state is required. If something offends you, as a civilized being you're expected to note its existence, do not allow it to impact you and carry on with your day. If you cannot abide it, take it up with your community and push for it to be absolutely removed.

English is my second language and I speak it with an accent. On numerous occasions I have had interviews for jobs end abruptly due to my accent. Due to the fact I wasn't born an American citizen. Even in my classes back in high school, I had a teacher who actively discriminated against me. (Russians love picking on me) So, no. Not all white people are privileged as these little rich kid ***** say they are. Only rich Americans have any shot. And notice I only said "Americans" because no matter if you're black, white, yellow, brown or ******* purple. If you have money, you have the opportunity that the majority of us don't.

But, I also believe the prejudices held by these people have little effect on the average daily lives of white people. Being white myself I've never really dealt with any negative side effects of anyone of another race having a problem with my skin color. I went to a high school that was mostly hispanic and I'm sure some of them didn't like white people, but no one ever tried intimidating me, or brought up hurtful stereotypes or anything like that.
But things like people in power with prejudices against other races has had negative effects in the past. Like black people trying to get loans for housing in suburbia and have some equity to pass down to their children rather than renting their whole lives. Or attempting to attend university or interviewing for jobs. And while a lot of these things mostly occurred in the past, it was still the very recent past. Had Emit Till not been lynched for whistling at a white woman he would have been like 74 this year. You have to put into perspective how long black people and other minorities have had to catch up to their white counter parts. So, if a couple hundred more black kids get into college each year after years of being second class citizens to try to even out the disparity in races, I'm okay with that. And I know a lot of people will say, "Ur making it EZ 4 black people, that's not fair". But, considering a larger percentage of the black population live in poverty, will end up in jail, or has a shorter life span in general, I'd say trying to help these people out of these conditions that were essentially manufactured by generations of discrimination and racism is acceptable.
That being said, there are white people who also exist in dire situations who may lose out to black people and that's not fair. A lot of people also like to say, "It shouldn't matter the color of your skin, it should matter who is best qualified." I also whole-heartedly believe this argument. However, this is also a cause for concern as you can bet your sweet-ass there were qualified black people in America's history who lost out because of the color of their skin. You can also bet that there are hundreds of family businesses that hire within the family rather than someone who is qualified, and white people having a longer history of property owning, having a larger market of people, and more opportunities probably have a better chance of passing down these businesses to their kids. Same thing with legacies in college. I bet my fellow college bros know hundreds of kids at their college who should NOT be there based on their intellectual capability, but their Grandpa and their Dad attended the same school, or their parents are professors there so they get a free ride, or their grandpa donated a library so every ********* who shares a last name will forever get in even if they also had to pay off their high school teachers to get their diploma in the first place.
This huge rant being said, Asian girl #1 in the video made a very eloquent point that people need to stop generalizing, and look at people based on their character rather than skin color. The SJWs in this video are dumb, and while I agree that no one should have to go to college and feel worried they might be jumped by Klan members while walking to class or feel like their peers hate them just for being a different color, they went about this **** wrong.
