So I was taking Drawing 1, as a required class, and we were going around the room giving information about ourselves. This one girl said she doesn't identify as a male or female. So me not knowing social boundaries I asked her if I should call her a he or she. "Call me them or they", I replied "them or they is plural calling you that would be an insult to grammar." then we went on with class. The next day as we waited for the teacher to show up I asked her if she knew what the difference between male and female was because I see no reason you should choose a gender. She got very mad and said she gets this question all the time and shes fed up with it. About an hour after the class I was called and asked to go to student services because someone in that class is accusing me of sexual harassment. There was a guy who wanted to know my side of the story and I explained it while not leaving out the part that I have Asperger. He sided with me but she is probably still accusing people of sexual harassment to this day...
