PCs render graphics better, meaning that more of the content is loaded at any given time. Whereas with consoles, usually only your immediate area is rendered. That's why far off objects just look like obscure blocks
He's making a joke about incomplete rendering as well. The sentence would normally be "clever, I like it." but because he's joking about computers not loading fully he wrote "clever, I like".
For the objectively 'superior' gamers, PC gamers sure need to reaffirm themselves alot.
But what do I know, I just own a PC and several systems and don't think about such things.
i have both ps4 and xbone and pc and you are wrong, most people hate on xbone for all the wrong reasons, it is actually a good console and has many good games, and the media **** was actually a good idea in fact i uses it everyday with the tv tuner and hdd for all my movies and **** , saves me getting off my fat ass and changing the source on my tv to hdmi 2 ect, also it has voice commands so i can just yell at my tv to change the channel, oh and the xbox controller is better too, having the analog so far from the triggers is just stupid. man even the wii U is relevant if you are into kid friendly games, i would love to own one, i want to own all the consoles actually, why the **** not.
kinda miss read what you said i apologize, i thought you were saying that in having a ps4 you have every relevant console meaning that ps4 is the only relevant console
I mainly buy the consoles for the exclusives if they're worth it. Got Xbox One because of Halo, and will get Wii U because of Pokken Tournament probably. I'm not that much of a widespread gamer, but it's nice to have the consoles incase i wanna try out more games. PS4 will still be my main console though.
bitch I play pc games because paying $5 per game vs $50 makes up the difference in the initial investment pretty fast. Plus my pc is good for another 9 years before i need to upgrade anything and even then I should be able to run **** on low. $400 console vs $900 PC, after 10 games I made up the price difference.
The main reason PC gamers hate consoles is because games are now being made for consoles then halfassly ported for PC rather than how it used to be when they were made for PC then re-optimized for consoles.
You must be new on the internet mate. Search up the word meme (pronounced meem).
Its basically just *********** and occasionally reminding console fanboys that are proud of their few ****** exclusives that pcs are still better than consoles, exclusives or not. Also *********** aside I fail to understand as to why would anyone buy a console when the pc already has all that and more.
PC and Console plebs are both the same I play PC and Handheld because I'm autistic so I have to go here, meaning I need a PC and i like playing on handheld, it's a different experience. "PC masterrace" is basically a joke in response to console kids spouting nonsense, sometimes points are made but if you have to actually make those obvious points to someone they won't accept the truth either way. PC can be both better and worse than consoles, consoles are simpler and made just for games, that's all it boils down to.
The community is the biggest reason I haven't gotten a gaming pc, they need to jam it down your throat how superior they are to console gamers and it's just so petty.
Betchu did that on a PC
I know I couldn't
I'm stuck on a mac.
Gaming sucks, but better than the desktop I have to share with family that is literally crawling with viruses.
the whole point of the pic is to show bad arguments "made by console players" or made up, more than likely
just because something is true doesn't mean it's a good argument
I get that, but the whole theme of it looks like to present someone as "misinformed", but that bit is just true. If you were playing with a controller on a PC you wouldn't be jerking off with it I wouldn't I might have taken too much of it at face value
And guess what, you're part of the one true masterrace. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. We're the hybrid gamer masterrace, and we are superior to both console and PC fags.
Barring exclusives, what advantage is there in hybrid? If you prefer controllers, you can still do that on PC, and PC is inherently superior in every way except being a party system.
Exclusives
Ability to participate in different communities
Being able to ignore ****** console wars
Even MORE exclusives if you have last-gen consoles as well
Be able to play with your friends no matter what console they have
The list goes on, that's just what I'm able to think of at the moment
Fair point, but I raise you a situation where there are no consoles because noone buys them:
No such thing as exclusives. Everyone gets all games
Same applies
Same applies. Because only one system
See point 1
Everyone has PC. No issues
Though, you do raise a valid point for the realistic situation. Thanks.
The fact that consoles require less maintenance and upgrades both of software and hardware. I am not one of those saying "having a PC costs 5000 dollahs!", but it is true that for the lifespan of a console generation you will have to spend more money on upgrading the PC, and also you'll have to update graphic drivers, probably the OS and so on. PC can offer a great experience if you have the time, money and will to care for it, but if all you want to do is get home, play on your couch with just decent graphics and not have to worry about a thing, consoles are your thing. I don't have enough time to care for a PC, I just want to go home, plug and play.
I use PC for RTS games and the consoles for all the other things, and the only thing I can tell you about gaming is that at the end of the day, all what matters while choosing a gaming platform is personal preference.
to get a pc that runs most modern day games, you might have to spend upwards of 1000$, times that by 4 and add the price of 4 games and you sit around 4000$-4200$
Most people own a PC anyway for non-gaming things. Two birds with one stone.
Also, why would it cost you $4000? Are you buying it for your friends too? Not to mention you don't have to buy a new PC every time a new game comes out like you seem to be suggesting.
im not suggesting that you buy a brand new ******* pc for everygame, thats retarded. im saying that to play modern games and get a fps above 5, you are going to need to sink some money into a pc built for gaming, but with consoles i can spend around 250$ on a good day for a new console and 50$ for the game and boom im ready to go.
Sorry. Just the way you were saying that gave off that vibe. My apologies.
The thing is though, you're paying for what you get. By spending more money, you get better parts in your PC. Better parts mean higher settings and framerates. You can run modern games on low with a fairly old rig and still get a good framerate, man.
i understand you get what you are paying for but just think, the original xbox 360 was able to run for 11 years and play games up to battlefield 4. you will have a long lasting console that will be able to play games for years, some might argue that the graphics will never be as good or better then pc but i am able to pay 25% of the price and still get to play the same game.
That's exactly what I'm saying, though. You are getting what you pay for, that's my entire point. The graphical difference gets worse and worse as those years go on. You could do the same with a PC, your games just look like arse.
in my honest opinion, graphics dont matter much, aslong as the core gameplay is good, and the price is acceptable. and right now it seems console is winning for me. plus i really really like halo.
Eh, I mean. Tombraider Underworld. Admittedly I was playing it on PS2 but it didn't have the sharks, for example, outside the first level's interior area.
Not saying it's a common thing, but it's happened before, y' know?
Ultimately, play what you enjoy the most. I'm just asking about like, statistical advantages rather than personal choice ones.
Personally I see it as an investment. You spend a big sum initially, and get yourself something good. Then over time you can upgrade a few pieces and have the same rig keep you going, playing modern games on high settings for years. Not to mention it also factors into account your normal PC costs (Since everyone has one even for non-gaming things)
So untrue. Before I got my gaming PC about a year or two ago, I had some ****** laptop. That thing could play modern games at mostly a rate of 30 FPS and above, and it wasnt even a gaming laptop.
Honestly the PC Master Race comments are usually all just jokes.
It's a fact that, the tech in a modern/good PC, is far, FAR superior to that of a console. I accept that consoles have their own pros, primarily being that they're superior for use as a party system.
That really depends on preference though, I love my PC just to play RTS games (mainly the Total War saga), but I absolutely love playing FPS games on console. If you get to the point where you master the controller enough to not need auto-aim, it is extremely fun to use it to shoot stuff. I know some people prefer PC, some prefer consoles, but aside from RTS games (basically there are barely any on the consoles) all other games can be enjoyed equally on both systems depending on what you like.
Too much work though, I enjoy the Sony controllers far more than the Xbox ones, and they take some extra **** to work on PC. Not the hardest of things, but yet again I can just turn on my PS4 and start playing with no worries. I don't have the time, money nor the will to care for a proper gaming PC that I can play the latest Triple A titles on, the console does that for me and it's basically just plug it and play. Yeah, I won't get the 4k 120fps that some PC gamers are getting, but that doesn't bother me too much.
I just use my PC to play Total War, occasionally Half Life 2, the rest of games I enjoy better on my PS4.
Stop trying to make me say the PC is better, it won't happen. Neither is better, nor worse, it all comes down to preference, and as of currently, I prefer my PS4 to the PC. Yeah, consoles don't even have 1080p/60fps for all games, but there are sure some that have them, and even though I reckon the best gaming PC has graphics and frame rate way superior to the consoles, I still like the PS4 and am satisfied with its performance so far. I study two degrees and don't have the money (guess why) or time (also guess why) to care for a good gaming PC, maybe when I get out of hell and get a good job I will reconsider it and play Rome Total War at 8k with 500fps.
Besides, I would like to see the specs of the average PC gamer, I've seen some insane setups but I also doubt most people are able to go further than 1080p/60fps. I don't know the figures though, it is just my personal opinion.
**dankrolls used "*roll picture*"** **dankrolls rolled image**Personally I would that the the greatest pro with PC's are is that you can upgrade it when you feel that it is necessary. If you buy a new computer every time the last one is old it will cost a lot more than it needs to.
We will have to see how it gets when developers start utilizing directX12, and with the 1000 series from nvidia coming in new computers will have a massive boost in possibilities for using UHD resolutions.
The main problem with consoles is that most that are using consoles also have a computer for other stuff, and the best part of consoles is that the developers can optimize the games hard as hell for the specific hardware in the consoles.
I agree that optimization is one of the main great points of consoles, it can be hell on PC. You can upgrade only when necessary, but truth is that if you do not get god-tier components on the first place, upgrading will be pretty necessary after a while if you want to play the new demanding games that come out, and those replacements cost money. Sure, you don't have to spend a **** ton of money, but for the lifespan of a console you'll spend far more money on the PC. I had my PS3 for 6 years and I'm pretty sure a PC bought in 2007 couldn't have played Skyrim like my good 'ol Sony pal did. Sure graphics weren't nearly as good as the PC, by a massively long ******* shot, but that's something I could live with.
And I don't see the problem with having a computer for "other stuff", even if I had a massive gaming rig, I'd still need my laptop to do university work, class notes and similar **** , I see no problem in having one console and one PC, double the fun!
I admit that I'll probably end up getting a good gaming PC in the future to play some of the PC exclusives and some games with great graphical fidelity, but as of now, the PS4 does the trick perfectly for me. And even if I had an amazing PC, I reckon that I'd still probably play on console a lot, the true master race is the multi-platform race!
goddamit why is everyone getting so butthurt for a single joke? It's JUST a joke and it's meant to be funny, not to offend. Both consoles and PCs are great platforms, It's just that consoles tend to be limited in what you can do with them.
See, you're a legendary "god-tier" gamer
Once you're rich enough to afford multiple platforms simultaneously, you stop having to worry about petty squabbles and you can just enjoy your games
As for the rest of us, we need to get our self-validation somehow, no?
PC and Console gamers can cry all they want while us Multi-platform gamers enjoy our games in peace. Nothing is exclusive when you have every gaming platform
i dont want games on all platforms it would ruin competition in the gaming market making it so only one platform exists thus reducing games because they dont need to make outstanding games to sell the platform. no point in having ps xbox and nintendo if they all have the same games, people would choose the best one and stick with it, the gaming world needs more exclusives and less dumb asses.
I'm just saying that since I have all platforms, nothing is off limits to me. I still think it is a good idea to have console exclusives as well. Like how the Uncharted games have given sony Sooooo much money, and Halo has net Microsoft a **** ton. And nintendo uh... Nintendo... Exists
I am well aware. I have a Legend of Zelda tattoo... I was just making a joke like Nintendo shouldn't be taken seriously. Even though the NXT is supposed to be blowing PS4 and Xbox One out of the water when it comes out
we don't reaffirm ourselves, it's all the filthy console peasants keep trying to say they're the superior system. realtalk tho, PC may be the superior system but console plebs aren't really plebs, it's the filthy non-gamers who are the real plebs
used to be pretty popular to say 360 master race because PS3 has no games or PS3 master race because 360 is/was pretty bad for the time of its release. Then the PC master race thing got really big when they had to pay the price for games being made for low end technology from 6+ year ago in 2012.
>wasting money on locked-down, outdated single-purpose, resource-constrained hardware to play purposely crippled games with a glorified PAID P2P online service
Honestly most of the "PC MASTERRACE" crowd does it just like the whole "overly patriotic american" crowd does it.
Basically a joke that if you take it overly serious, even more so if you get pissed off about it, we laugh at you more often then not because you missed out on it.
Yes, the entire world should just follow your humor palet. Otherwise they are wrong and shouldnt share what they think is funny. Its okay man, I follow you, from now on me and my entire group of friends and all of funnyjunk shall send you messages asking for your approval on all things we might find funny.
You shouldn't have to have bought 3-4 platforms. What PC gamers say, although re-iterated in meme worthy extremism, is that if everyone had a PC; no company would make platform exclusives, so everyone could play every game, and the games (EVERY GAME) that are made would be tailor made for PC hardware/software so they'll all run with superb quality, both in frame rate and quality.
You wouldn't have to worry about your friends having a game on another console and you can play along with everyone on earth, in better games.
WE GET PISSED WHEN EVERYONE IGNORES A BETTER WAY OF DOING WHAT THEY LOVE. GAMING.
exclusives will always exist. 3rd party exclusives might stop, but companies that make the systems will always develop their own games to be incentive for purchasing said systems.
and if multiple systems didn't exist, we'd have a monopoly and the consumers would be screwed even harder than they are now.
If the one system was PC there would only be a monopoly on the operating system which is Windows.
There are many companies that develop computers that run on Windows and they have to compete.
1. Consoles are something Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo will NEVER Stop doing, if they just outright dropped consoles they'd lose a LOT of money, and maybe the third party developers would just up and leave and start developing for PC magically, but the console manufacturers would never hop on board this idea.
2. I know if I say expenses are a thing, everybody will shrug me off, so I'll just say that not everybody enjoys playing with keyboard and mouse, and not every PC game has controller support. Some people just want to sit on their couch and wind down with a quick game, and console interfaces are far more supportive of that in my opinion.
I have a PC, AND many consoles, and I honestly dont understand all this ******* fighting over which is "better", people have preferences on exclusives, interface, community, software, etc. Not everyone cares about graphics that much, so it's definitely understandable why someone would want a console.
But literally everyone who has a console at least has a PC.
The thing is that a console gives a way better gaming experience for the same amount of money.
this has gone from cancerous "pc master race yeah" to literally cancerous "man **** pc master race, all console master race" that hasn't failed to show up on ANY POST related to this
Why I don't like this all console owning master race ****
xbox one $349.00 at walmart,
8 gigs ddr3 ram $40 regular price
an equivalent 1.75 GHz CPU $41.00 regular price
an equivalent GPU is $45 regular price
500 GB harddrive, $30 regular price
a cheap mobo, $30
psu/case combo, $30 psu will probably suck
so the relevant hardware is $250 without shopping around or getting things on sale. This could easily be gotten it down to $150 if you went to a site like pcpartpicker and looked around for daily deals at your local Fry's Electronics.
PS4 is a little higher end than the xbone but still could get the parts for half the price of one.
This all console owning master race ******** is pretty bad because you are spending $1000 on basically a Wii U (which has started to fall off as far as content being released for it because nintendo is putting its resources towards the 3DS) and 2 overpriced, nonupgradable, low-end PCs where the only reason you would need both is because you want to play halo and bloodborne
most people buy consoles because they are extremely easy to use set up and not very expensive and reliable for playing games nothing can go wrong no files or viruses that can **** up games.
Mein führer gabe nowel , i sig heil for you , there is no greateness bigger than die PC MASTER RACE

All of my miserable life i never had any luck or chance to have a powerful PC to play modern games with good graphics now the chance is at my hand and i will be able to play every single modern games with highest of graphics and Frame rates
BUT! All my life i had games from 90s. like doom,marahton.zpc.For me graphics meant nothing i enjoyed every single piece of pixel..and for me gameplay counted the most..now most of you will ask..''but alphagex why u buying expensive pc'' well cause i got 300 games on steam that i bought during this couple of months...and yeah and i wanted those...plus i don't know how console work and i feel more comfy playing on PC
I did grow up with Playstation 1 played awesome games like crash bandicoot, blasto jersey devil, arme man sarges'hero and much more
And to this day no Pc games has brought me this joy of gaming this grain of nostalgia..I will always remember playstation 1 in my heart
Recently i found out about emulators...and i was so ******* happy that i could play Medievil 1..on it i finish it today and i completed it for the first time...and i never had the chance to play sadly any Zelda or Metal gear solid games...but now i have a second chance
My point is....do not judge console or pc gaming..Find the joy in whatever console or computer...is not a competion...is a discovery of joy and immersion.
A motherboard is defined as a board that can host other boards, usually called duaghterboards. Technically, consoles do not have motherboards. Typically, the large boards on consoles are called mainboards. And yes, laptops with soldered rams aren't considered to have motherboards.

Why did the PC user cross the road? To render the buildings on the other side The joke is about me I have a ****** HP Pavilion laptop from like 2010 that still has the original processor and graphics card gib nvedia ples
Maybe I'm doing it wrong but my PC has pretty much been relegated to Counter Strike, Elite Dangerous, and Arma. I'm getting Fallout 4 on PC as well but I could give a **** less about most other games. My favorite games tend to be console exclusive, so that is usually what I play most. Although I couldn't imagine playing Elite Dangerous without a HOTAS . Never understood the circle jerk...
Aww yeah, Persona 5. I really looking forward to this game!
I´m thinking about getting Devil Survivor 2 for 3DS, anyone know if it's as good as the first one?
I play Xbox 360 and I love it, but this was still funny. however only casual faggots care about graphics, the gameplay is all that matters N64 games where generally funnier/harder than most of todays games but that's just my opinion as a console gamer
