Bi means Man and Woman, and no that isn't the end of the 'spectrum'. Not to get all tumblr, but technically transsexual people are not part of the term 'man' or 'woman' since they lack the complete 'set' of a reproductive organ. Thus, they can't fall into the 'bi'nary.
The comic's version of pansexual also goes on about the stereotypical ideal of a man or woman. A man who dresses up in drag, for instance, wouldn't really be considered a man by most closed minded people and that's more or less what the comic was going on about.
Not something I honestly care 'bout, but I figured I'd clarify.

Pansexuality was originally a phrase coined by Sigmund Freud that didnt mean anything it means now.
Basicly it comes down to the whole nonsense of "i can make up my own special gender". The traits you ascribed to pansexuality also fit bisexuality, who care about the person and not the sex.
In essence it's just tumblr levels of ******** , and people trying to be extra special snowflakes. Pansexual, for when Bisexual isn't special sounding enough.

I'm Bi, but I really don't need a flag or a symbol to show it. IMO It really just makes people feel like "special snowflakes", and it's something that I hate. Just my two cents, though.
