Mandark was a victim of parents striving for gender neutrality, which basically translated to forcing a boy to live like a girl.

This is something I never thought about until it became a modern issue.

I'll be honest... I appreciated the a Kevin Michael Richardson performance. I liked the character design, and he brought his own unique style to the voice acting, so I'm not sure why people dislike that incarnation.

yeah from the pilot episode, the show was alright not great but not bad, it used one of the dc alternate universes for huntress's backstory so making her the daughter of batman and catwoman,
