Ah yes i remember when in lord of the rings they went into that forest and the animals got spookier as they went in yes good times.

This person's idea is that just like the ocean, a forest would slowly get taller and scarier as you go in. While there are enchanted forest's in fantasy novels, I think this idea is more unique as these forests would completely replace the ocean, which could lead to exploration missions and such.
