I'm too embarrassed to go jogging or to the gym. Wish I had those things at my home. It's too expensive and too big for my room.

If you think walking is exercise then you will eat more chocolate.

If you think walking is a leisure activity then you will eat less chocolate.

Then you must think walking is so leisurely that it is equivalent to nirvana.

It's from a legit study, it's just been linguistically thunderintense bodyloveed.

Basically, 2 groups of test subjects each went for a walk, and then came back to a place where chocolate was available. Those that were told the walk was for the purposes of exercise ate more chocolate because they believed it would thereby be OK seeing as exercise had been done. Those who were told the walk was a scenic one just for leisure were not under the same impression, and so ate less

When a person does something they don't want to do they will reward themselves by doing the opposite. When a person that hates exercising exercises they reward themselves with extra junk food and candy.

Walking is exercise. As long you realise that you have to do a lengthy walk and not just down the street to the local takeaway.

Those who take a walk for exercise will eat more chocolate than those who take a walk for fun

I think it's saying that if you think walking is exercise, you'll absorb more chocolate. Or maybe if you think chocolate is walking, you'll absorb more exercise.

If you eat chocolate, you think "ohh i'm going to put weight on" or "that's a lot of extra calories". People do walking and justify it by saying "i've been for a walk, I think I will treat myself" and the cycle becomes endless. You get good at walking, but no weight gets shedded.
