Yeah, but the scientist and the engineer gets a fat paycheck and the Liberal Arts guy/gal gets what in the glass plus a bit under minimum wage.

So who's the real winner?

Where do you think the money came from? The science and engineering majors of course.

Scientists and Engineers don't need tips to supplement their income; indeed, they are more akin to leaving tips for the pitiful Liberal Arts hobo.

Though i concede that engineering is usually much more practical and useful.

Yeah, but engineers wouldn't get far without new theory being developed. And new theory doesn't get developed with mathematicians. So:
Math!

The engineering one is actually really ******* accurate.
Science: Okay, here's the minimum amount for this to work.
Engineering: Will it survive being hit with a baseball bat?

I'd guess that it takes alot more effort to balance it without duct tape.

How does the science one work? I see no possible way in which that would work.

The handles of the fork are heavier, so the center of gravity is on the point where the coin touches the lip of the cup. Only works because forks have curved handles.

No it's balancing on the edge of the cup. Forks defy your notions of gravity. Defying Gravity While Balancing Forks!! (Scientific Experiment)

the fork handles extend inward moving the center of mass of the set of forks/coin to the point which allows for the coin to stay, that way its just like resting the coin itself on the glass

cept liberal arts degrees are used in things like marketing a research etc.

The whole "liberal arts degrees are useless" myth is a ******* long going and stupid one.
