Fun fact: if you join together all your blood veins into one long vein, and lay it across earths equator, you would die.

Bones are ********, i feel on concrete, my bones broke, the concrete din't, also i am able to break a thin bone with my hands, but not a thin concrete bar.

For the falling on concrete part: There's a whole lot of physics behind that which I'm not going to explain here. But basically just because it was a larger amount of concrete, it was less likely to break. Think about how someone skilled in martial arts can split an average cinder block, but couldn't split one the size of a building.

The breaking a small bone part: This is specifically a human bone. Breaking a different animal's bones is completely different.

Your average human can't break a cinderblock. The reason a material arts practioner can do it is because he trained for it. The human body follows a specific law called Wolff's Law, which in its essence means that tissue or bone under stress, will harden to accomodate for said stress. An example would be a tennis player. His swing-arm would have a more dense bone-structure than the arm he doesn't use for swinging. Same for runners - higher density bones than that of an average person.

But to adress the infographic: They make no mention of how the bone is stronger than concrete. Nor how it was tested. I'd assume that they've taken the weight of a femur, applied pressure to said femur, measured its breaking point - and tried scaling it upwards and comparing it to concrete. Which makes for a very loose comparisson.

He's not wrong. You have quite an extensive network of veins and arteries, nowhere near 25000 miles though. However, capillaries are also blood vessels that go to every single one of the millions upon millions of cells within your body, this adds up to 25,000 miles. Believe it or not, blood vessels got reach.

#1- The stomach cells also secretes an alkaline mucous to counteract the gastric juice, which is the primary method of defense against the acidic environment. The cells might multiply at a faster than average rate but that isn't the reason the stomach can resist the acid.

#10- Doubt in terms of burn victim treatment. Most cases of burns take skin grafts from elsewhere on a person's body (such as the butt), in order to increase successful grafting. Unless it's an extensive burn, then maybe that's what they use. I still doubt it.

Some of the numbers I have doubts about too, but can't be bothered trying to find the accuracy on them.

It can't MELT zinc, in fact the acid in our stomach is weaker than store-bought muriatic acid (0.1M HCL) and actually dissolves it.

Doesn't all acid dissolve though?

Melting is just a change of state .

Melting is from solid to liquid (e.g. Zn(s) --> Zn(l))
Dissolution is the transition to a solution (e.g. Zn(s) --> Zn^2+(aq))
Melting zinc requires ~800 F, which would probably kill you, where as dissolving zinc only requires some acid.

exactly.

Change of state requires Energy / change in enthalpy whether its inbetween a Hess's Law reaction or its just the whole reaction.

Dissolution has less to do with energy and more to do with intermolecular forces between different types of atoms/ molecules.

I was just saying that all acids dissolve to an extent. Whether they're weak like HydroIodic or strong like Hydroflouric.

Hydroiodic is a strong acid and hydrofluoric is weak lol, rookie mistake, HF is a strong oxidizer but is a weak acid, while HI is a much weaker oxidizer but a much strong acid.
Everything dissolves to an extent, but that's not the same as melting!
