So is that show basically a different themed version of The Office (with a different cast too obviously)? I've never actually watched an episode.

There's one character that makes Parks and Rec better. Ron ******* Swanson.

The Office and Parks and Rec are distinctly different, but similar enough that if you enjoy one then you're probably going to enjoy the other.

Parks and Rec was actually created to be a spinoff of The Office but was taken in its own direction after it started to gain popularity

Well that's only if the room is small enough and the gas is potent enough to stay toxic while so diluted

true, and you could feasibly be close enough to inhale the gas before it has time to become too diluted.

It's an asphyxiant, not toxic.

It displaces the oxygen in the space's air and thus deprives your body of oxygen. Since you can't feel a difference in breathing it, it kills you by, surprise, asphyxiation

I'd just put water on the ground and have a bunch of balloons filled with grains of alkaline metals and helium. That way they pop it and it lands near them and not me

untrue, there good be enough possion in the balloon to kill the people standing neurby. but when it diffused the concentration gets to low. are it can (slowly) react with air in non toxic matter, making it only in the beginning (for people nearby) dangerous.
