Yea, you only get around 5-10 days with rain in Saudi, and because of how seldom it rains there, the capital, Riyadh, has pretty much no drainage system at all. When it does rain, it can get quite heavy and the streets get flooded. Bus ride from school is normally 30 mins, but the rain can make the ride longer than 2 hours.

People also like to liter, so when it rains, the flood carries all the garbage around and it smell like **** . sandstorm season too, the wind carries the smell of camel dung.

"People also like to litter"

Given their reputation as a people, this surprises me.

Hey, if you don't live in the Netherlands, why make polders or dikes? It's the same thing here, if rain is a very rare occurence, then why bother even making storm drains?
