I only watched like 7 episodes of GOT and I absolutely don't get why this would be offensive.
Like in the first few episodes Khaleesi got ******* raped and then developed Stockholm syndrome, there was gay sex, incest, I even heard some guy was tortured and got his dick cut off and nobody found that offensive.
You knew what you were getting into when you started watching the damn show

All these "Hurr Durr muh triggers" are starting to get out off hand and people are letting it happen.

No one raised this much fuss over the other rapes in the show. It was only because this was Sansa, throughout the series Sansa is one of the few characters that tried to keep out of everything and retain her innocence. Its only recently that she has begun to change and people are upset she may change for the worse.

Also theres the people who are pissed off at them showing rape at all so of course they get up in arms, its to be expected.

That scene and many others wouldn't have been anywhere near as effective or memorable if the events happened in audio only or off screen.
Example; the wedding .
It made me uncomfortable as **** thats fine because thats the intention.

Also **** Ramsy! I hope Sansa blinds him in his sleep!
