Yeah I never got why the LGBT "community" makes such a big deal about it. When I came out it was just to my friends and it trickled down basically as gossip through my school, I never got why some people had to like, ya know, jump out of the closet or things like that.

People always say that it's not anyone's business, but it kind of is. I wanted it to spread in case there were any other gay people in my class, that was sort of the idea. I always thought the whole public announcement of jumping of out of the closet was kind of garish, so I tried being a bit more subtle, I guess you could call it. Jokes on me, half the class still doesn't know lol. And on the subject of the T, yeah I never really got why they got put with the gays in that group. I thought the left was trying to push gender identity and sexuality and biological gender as different categories, which kind of conflicts with putting gender dysmorphia in the same group as homosexuality.

That reminds of the conversation that happened when my boy scout troop learned I was gay. I had been absent from the meetings for while cause school was getting a bit killer, and news trickled down that the BSA would vote on whether or not the gays could be in troops, then the vote became that each troop would decide. One of my other friends in the troop told me a guy jokingly was like "Yeah guys, we're not lettin' any of them faggots into our troop, no sir." Then when they heard I was gay there were, " **** , I like Xaja." and I was allowed to stay lol. It's kinda weird, I never really got any harassment for being gay, even though I went to small and pretty conservative Texan school.

One reason is the fact that a gay couple could technically sue and win against a religious organization for refusing services to a legitimate cause.
