Well obviously ten-year-olds can't be 20-year-olds, but it is true that the more stuff you learn the more connections your brain makes, therefore being exposed to more info like we are today will help your brain develop faster (not mature, develop), and also that good nutrition keeps the mechanisms healthy so that they can do the thing they're supposed to do, we technically still are supposed to know more stuff at an earlier age than before. Add that to the fact that different people mature at different rates and also have different intelligence and emotional codes (because of genetics), then yeah, it's totally feasible that someone could be like her.

I don't like Foo Fighters or Nirvana, but I don't dislike them either. I think they're both important contributors to their own genre of music and music development over time. However, Kurt did use a lot of his influences. He used Boston's More Than A Feeling in Smells Like Teen Spirit. He just changed it a bit. But one of my favorite bands Dream Theater does the exact same thing. Solitary Shell is similar to Peter Gabriel's Solsbury Hill. Every band does it. I do hate the idea that a lot of people have that you have to like FF or Nirvana to be a fan of rock music, just as much as I hate the idea that if you like either bands then you only listen to ****** music. Just let people like whatever.
