Great story, it's really up for interpretation but the ending is pretty solid.

Such words are rare, but yes, it's friggin' hard/impossible to read when my dad writes something.

how do you read english?

do you look at every letter of a word?

The answer is you do not. Humans have trained themselves to recognize words by shape, length and certain letters.

The problem is that all of the letters above have the same lenght and shape, and they all look like the same letters.

It's kinda amusing really. Watching both russian news and news from an external point of view, I no longer understand wtf is going on. Shows how easy it is to manipulate through media.

All right, she's just making it up, no language would ever be understandable that way.

That or Russians are all psychically connected and that's why they can interpret those curvies.

It's not made up. I had to learn to write this **** in a Russian course I took. Mind you the person writing would likely distinguish their letters better to avoid confusion.

Understandably but you can see how many of the characters show resemblance to OP's post. It just happens to be an unfortunate pairing of letters. I imagine most Russians know which word it is because very few other words are quite as scrwed up as that.
