i believe this is the cheese rolling event in gloucestershire, UK... they chuck some cheese down a super steep hill and whoever gets to the cheese first gets to keep it!
...This is why I hate when people make fun of other's traditions. "You spackle a statue with water every day? How absurd, I throw a cheese wheel down a hill and everyone in town breaks their ankles chasing after it."
its an actual event in england. they role a wheel of cheese down a big hill (not really checking for rabid holes and such.) and you sprint down it to catch the cheese. its full contact, and has been band by some of the councils due to its high injury rate.
AND at the end? all you get is a wheel of cheese that is covered in feces, grass, and boot prints
pic related: what would happen if you put your foot in a rabit hole and trip
The camera angle is strange but the slope is actually quite steep and rutted out. It is very hard to keep your balance even without the holes, but when sprinting down as fast as possible with dozens of foot wide divots it's nigh impossible
well if you look closely, it's actually more steep than you think, it's more than 40 degrees like deadmice said, you can see how some of them are falling down it at high speed rather than just tripping, which wouldn't happen if the slope was the angle that it appears on camera
