Working register sucks at a gas station. The only perk for me was I had all the hours. I worked 12-14 hours a day, 5, sometimes 7 days a week.

I worked more than the manager, did his job and got paid half. I was like **** it when I thought a nig nog gave me a $100, turns out was a old $20.
I sat down for a meeting about that, looked at mr. DM, and said "this is what happens when I leave at 12am, come back at 5am, leave at 6pm, and repeat, for days straight. Your manager is a dumb **** that will cost you your job, because he doesn't want to get new clerks. You'll see as I did his entire job, all the ordering, stocking, paper work, everything."
