one checks him for injuries and headset malfunctions, other gives him water
no one thinks about how hot those things get, in nascar losing ten pounds in one race is expected.
Still boring though
They suppose to fill gas? Its mandatory i guess since the team is going for a tire change only and not a full pit where you fill gas n **** ... Maybe... I dont know...
The driver, Jos Verstappen, only received slight burns to his nose. The safety precautions in F1 are pretty strict with regards to driver safety. Drivers' overalls are made from highly fire retardant materials + every team has a crew member standing by with a fire extinguisher just in case this exact thing happens.
I remember back in the day of CART and Champ Car here in the US, where they ran methanol based fuels.
If you didn't know, methanol burns clear, as in the flames are invisible to the eye.
I've seen races where drivers pull away with the fuel filler hose still attached to the car, and have gallons of fuel pour onto the drivers and pit crew.
Everyone freaks out and runs around as, but it looks comical because you can't see the flames.
The good thing is that water kills the fire quickly; 5 Gallon buckets filled with water lined the other side of the pit walls every few feet just in case. Rival teams would run over to a burning car and dump bucket after bucket of water.
Imagine having a pitcrew of 16 dudes wearing fire proof suits, bursting into your room to change your condom, lube you up, brush your teeth to get the pussy hair out, and then disappear out of your room again in 2.52 seconds.
Yeah I think I'll just take a bit more time in changing my condom.
Any one else excited for the USGP at COTA tomorrow? I really wish they moved the start time back like two hours, so people could make it there and to TMS for NASCAR.
no. basically they have done that with engines because of the new rules. main reason for that change was because of the accidents with the fueling (fires etc)
